Сьогодні коротенько покажемо класику - склейка голови Gibson LP 😌 Так як ми вже знали, що ця гітара в цьому місці раніше клеїлась і фарбувалась, одразу запропонували не просто склейку, а ремонт з посиленням та маскуванням. У таких випадках посилення - це скоріше обов’язковий етап, навіть якщо на перший погляд здається, що й без нього все буде нормально. Місце вже має «слабину», плюс можуть залишатись мікротріщини, які зараз непомітні, але з часом обов’язково дадуть про себе знати. Загалом, якщо дивитись статистично, Gibson ламаються не більше, ніж будь-які інші гітари з грифом із червоного дерева та головою під кутом. Але через те, що це зазвичай недешеві інструменти - їх просто частіше є сенс ремонтувати. І чим більше Gibson потрапляє в ремонт, тим більше про це говорять, ще сильніше підживлюючи мем про голови Gibson та їх “якість” 🙃 Only Gibsons is good enough, як то кажуть 🌚 🇺🇸 Today, a quick look at a true classic — repairing a broken Gibson LP headstock 😌 Since we already knew this guitar had been repaired and refinished in this exact spot before, we suggested doing not just a glue-up, but a reinforced repair with proper touch-up work. In cases like this, reinforcement is pretty much a necessary step, even if at first glance it may seem unnecessary. The area already has a certain “weakness” to it, and there can also be tiny hidden cracks that will eventually become a problem again in the future. Statistically speaking, Gibsons don’t really break more often than any other guitars with angled mahogany necks. But because these instruments are usually quite expensive, they’re simply more worth repairing.
