Goa Gil has always been known as the god-father of psytrance. This is not because he invented psytrance or created the first beats. But because he has always played an instrumental role in taking it from the beaches of Goa and propagating it across the world. Say anything about the man. But you cannot criticize someone who walks the talk. For Episode 3, here is the First Ever DJ Set to have happened in the legendary @burningman festival. Current ravers wouldn't be able to imagine Burning Man without djs. But this is how we began. 🔱🕉️ . . . . . #thankslarry #psyculture #psyrave #burningman #goagil

#GoaGil #HighBPM #Darkpsy #Psytrance #Psychedelic #PsychedelicTrance #Art

Albert Hofmann be like: “What have I done?” 😁 A user once shared this story in a YouTube comment. He said he took Albert Hofmann to a Goa party in Switzerland in the early 2000s where Goa Gil was playing. When people on the dancefloor realized who had just walked in, the crowd couldn’t believe it. Soon everyone gathered around the DJ booth, celebrating him like a pop star while Goa Gil played. The only thing that surprised him was that everyone was dancing alone — he was used to ballroom dancing where people dance in pairs. A legendary moment in rave history. 🌌🎶 #AlbertHofmann #GoaGil #GoaTrance #Switzerland #INDIANRAVERS 🇮🇳

Goa Gil left a legacy that transcends music, inspiring generations to seek a deeper connection with themselves and the universe through trance. His influence lives on across dancefloors and in the hearts of all who experienced his musical rituals. 🖤🙏🏻🖤 #goagil #psychedelic #psygram_official

Imagine seeing Albert Hoffman and Goa Gil together on the dancefloor at that psy trance party in Switzerland back then!? 🤩🤯 2 legends & pioneers together. ❤️ Actually these words by Goa Gil inspired us to write tribal ritual (track link in bio) and I believe it’s truly the essence of what our scene is about. ✨ “Dance is active meditation, when we dance we go beyond thought… beyond mind. To become one in a divine ecstasy of union with the cosmic spirit. This is the essence of the trance dance experience” Goa Gil Forever legend ❤️
