The Goat Life (2024)
Aadujeevitham (The Goat Life) (2024) is a Malayalam-language survival drama directed and written by Blessy, based on Benyamin's acclaimed novel of the same name, which is inspired by the real-life experiences of Najeeb Muhammad. The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran as Najeeb, alongside K. R. Gokul, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Amala Paul, Talib Al Balushi, and Shobha Mohan, with music composed by A. R. Rahman and cinematography by Sunil K. S.
the film follows Najeeb, a poor Malayali man who leaves his pregnant wife and aging mother behind to work in Saudi Arabia, dreaming of earning enough money to lift his family out of poverty. However, soon after arriving, he is deceived by his sponsor (kafeel) and taken to a remote desert where he is forced into slavery as a goat herder. Cut off from the outside world, denied basic human rights, beaten, starved, and isolated for years, Najeeb gradually loses his identity and begins living like the very goats he tends, forming an emotional bond with the animals to survive the crushing loneliness. Along the way, he befriends another trapped worker, Hakeem, whose fate becomes one of the film's most heartbreaking moments. When hope seems lost, Najeeb escapes with the help of fellow migrant Ibrahim Khadiri, and together they undertake a perilous journey across the unforgiving Arabian desert, battling hunger, thirst, exhaustion, and death itself in search of freedom. After enduring unimaginable suffering, Najeeb is eventually rescued and reunited with the outside world, forever changed by his ordeal.
The film is a deeply emotional and realistic tale of survival, faith, resilience, and the horrific exploitation faced by many migrant workers, making it one of the most powerful Malayalam films ever made.

The Goat Life (originally titled Aadujeevitham) is a 2024 Malayalam-language survival drama film directed by Blessy. It is based on the 2008 best-selling novel of the same name by Benyamin, which in turn was inspired by the real-life story of Najeeb Muhammed, a migrant worker from Kerala, India.
The story follows Najeeb (played by Prithviraj Sukumaran), who travels to Saudi Arabia in the 1990s in search of a better life and employment. Upon arrival, his dreams turn into a nightmare when he is fraudulently intercepted and forced into slave-like conditions as a goat herder in a remote, isolated desert. For years, he suffers extreme physical and emotional trauma, enduring isolation, starvation, and brutal treatment from his employer, with his only companions being his herd of goats. The film depicts his harrowing journey and his desperate, arduous quest to escape and return to his home.

What kind of a joke is this? Raayan winning Best Film at the National Awards? If things like this continue, the awards will lose their value and respect🤦🏻♂️

Assalamualaikum everyone!
In this mini vlog, I share the reality of living alone on a remote goat farm in Saudi Arabia. My internet package expired, I had to walk to a nearby farm for Wi-Fi, take care of a sick goat, cook my own food, and return through the desert to continue my daily routine.
This is the real life of a farm worker in the desert. I always try to stay positive, but I also want to show the reality so others can make informed decisions.
If you enjoy real farm life, goats, puppies, desert adventures, and daily vlogs, don't forget to Like, Share, and Follow.
Thank you for watching!#BakriWala #GoatLife #FYP #ExplorePage #PardesLife
