Did you know fibre plays a huge role in supporting your mood and energy levels? Fibre helps stabilise blood sugar, nourish your gut and keep you feeling fuller for longer, all of which are incredibly important when it comes to maintaining steady energy and supporting a positive mood throughout the day. These wholesome baked beans are one of my favourite nourishing breakfasts or lunches. They’re rich in fibre, plant-based protein and flavour, making them a simple and satisfying way to fuel your body. This recipe is just one of the many delicious meals included in this month’s Mindful March Meal Plan inside my Mood Boost Membership. This might be my favorite food feature I’ve ever created for @betterhomesandgardens. In the current issue, you’ll find the story, “The Good Stuff.” Five recipes built around smart techniques that make vegetables, protein and fiber taste absolutely fabtastic. Paper-thin ribbons of raw sweet potato, carrots and beets that get massaged with salt and vinegar until they turn silky and noodle-like. A creamy non-dairy mojo verde sauce made from toasted sunflower seeds that’s simple, clever and unexpectedly delicious with seared flank steak and herby rice. And my brown butter miso skillet spaghetti with a flavor bomb of a full pound of shaved Brussels sprouts stirred in at the end. I’ve made that one at least 15 times already. The whole story is my take on protein-plus cooking and the fiber-maxxing trend in a way that actually makes you want to cook and eat these dishes again and again. The recipes are in the link in my bio. And if you love food magazines like I do, please support print and pick up the issue at grocery stores, newsstands or @barnesandnoble. Save this for later and share it with someone who loves to cook. Be good to yourself and eat something delicious. ✌️ #ChadwickBoyd #ChadwickBoydLifestyle #LovelyAndDelicious #BetterHomesAndGardens

I’ve been in a bit of a cooking rut lately… so this week I’m simplifying everything and giving myself a little challenge. No new groceries. Just using what I already have to spark some creativity again. But here’s the key: I’m not just throwing random meals together day-of. I’m still thinking about: 🥩 protein to support energy + blood sugar 🥝 fiber + diversity for gut health 🐟 fats for satiety, happy hormones, and anti-inflammatory 😌 meals that actually feel good in my body Because supporting your gut isn’t about having the “perfect” plan… it’s about knowing how to build meals that work for you...even in real life, busy weeks, or when you’re in a bit of a rut. This is exactly how I approach nutrition with my clients. Not rigid. Not overwhelming. But helping them understand their body, give it what it needs, and reconnect with its cues. Intentional, supportive, and sustainable. If you’ve been feeling stuck in a rut with your meals or digestion, comment below & I’ll share more of how I approach this…and if you’re joining me this week, tell me what you’re making 🤍 ••• #ibs #bloatedbelly #mealtips #ibsnutrition #nutritionist

Food for Mood Workshop… with a view! Today we took @hillsandnewton up to the top of London — sharing our Food for Mood workshop with the team at Baker Botts, high above the city at Sky Garden. Turns out leafy greens taste even better when you’re eye level with the skyline. This session is part of a monthly programme we’re running — practical, evidence-based nutrition woven into real life food ideas. Not fads. Not lectures. Just good food, good science and honest conversation. What we love most? Hearing the ripple effect. The small shifts: • adding seeds to breakfast • swapping ultra-processed snacks for something real • having kombucha in the office fridge • building a proper lunch And the bigger ones: • steadier energy • better focus • fewer 3pm crashes • feeling more in control of food choices We’re there to share the nutritional insight — but also the actual ideas. What to cook. What to buy. What to prep on a Tuesday night when life is busy. This is the work we love doing. Food that supports people — wherever they sit. If your workplace wants to lift mood, energy and food confidence (with or without the skyline), we’d love to talk. #FoodForMood #CorporateWellbeing #RealFoodAtWork #HillsAndNewton #EatTheRainbow FoodConfidence
