Nature has always been my sanctuary, the place where I feel most at home. 🌿
I’m honored to share that I’m becoming a Goodwill Ambassador with the @unitednations Environment Programme. Our world is facing a triple crisis: climate change, nature and biodiversity loss, and pollution. I want to use my voice to help protect this beautiful planet we all share.
I hope you’ll join me and @unep on this journey.💚

Ich bin Dr. h.c. Ute-Henriette Ohoven – und die prägendste Begegnung meines Lebens war die mit Mutter Teresa. Sie sagte immer wieder zu mir:
👉 „You must help the children.“
Diese Worte haben mein Leben verändert – und sie wurden zum Ursprung der YOU Stiftung.
Denn YOU steht für uns alle. Für jeden Menschen, der Verantwortung übernimmt und mit seinem Beitrag Hoffnung schenkt.
Als UNESCO-Sonderbotschafterin setze ich mich seit über 40 Jahren für Kinder, Jugendliche und Frauen in Not ein. Mit unserer Herzenskampagne „Mein Euro zählt“ möchten wir zeigen, dass selbst kleine Beiträge Großes bewirken – in drei zentralen Bereichen:
🧡 Bildung fördern
🧡 Gesundheit stärken
🧡 Hunger bekämpfen
Ich glaube fest daran, dass wir gemeinsam eine Zukunft schaffen können, in der jedes Kind eine Chance auf Bildung, Frieden und Würde hat. 🌍
Jede Veränderung beginnt mit einem You. 🧡

I am Dr. h.c. Ute-Henriette Ohoven – and one of the most defining encounters of my life was meeting Mother Teresa. She kept saying to me:
👉 “You must help the children.”
Those words changed my life – and became the inspiration behind the YOU Foundation. Because YOU stands for all of us – for everyone who takes responsibility and gives hope through their actions.
As UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, I have spent over 40 years supporting children, youth and women in need. With our campaign “My Euro Counts”, we want to show that even small contributions can make a big difference – across three key pillars:
🧡 Promoting education
🧡 Strengthening health
🧡 Fighting hunger
I truly believe that together we can create a world where every child has the chance to live in dignity, peace and with equal opportunity. 🌍
