🎓 6 Essential Grad Shoot Tips From the Best in the Game 😎 - If you want your pics (and your fit) to eat this season — follow these 6 tips: 1️⃣ Pick the Right Photographer 📸
Look through their work — do they match your vibe? Or are they giving everyone the same edits and poses? Don’t just book someone because they own a camera. Book someone who gets your vision and can actually deliver it. 2️⃣ Know Your Poses💃🏾
Pinterest is your best friend. Save inspo from IG. Practice in the mirror. Don’t expect your photographer to coach you through every move — come prepared with a few in your back pocket. 3️⃣ Have a Vision👁️
Want a cap toss? A fire backdrop? A shot with your hand on your head in front of the mascot statue? Be specific. Showing up with a plan keeps things smooth, fast, and stress-free. 4️⃣ Book Your Beauty Team EARLY💄
Hair, makeup, nails, lashes — schedule it 3–5 hours before your shoot. Not during. Not after. I’ve had people still getting their hair done at shoot time — don’t be that person 😩 5️⃣ Bring Friends (But Be Smart)👯‍♀️
A good hype crew = great energy, hair checks, outfit fixes, and good vibes. But too many voices can throw you off. Bring the ones who know how to gas you up, not stress you out. 6️⃣ Take a Shot 🥂
One or two — just to loosen up, shake off the nerves, and step into the moment. You’ve earned this. Core memory vibes only. If you’ve got a shoot coming up — save this, share it, and show up right 😎🤙🏾 - Remember: these tips and tricks are all just things that I do, My opinions. Just because I do things this way doesn’t mean you have too as well 😉 - Share this with a photographer or videographer that needs to hear this! - #blackphotographers #photographyproblems #studiophotographer #cannonphotography #sonya7rv #photograper #photolove #photogrphy #photographersofinstagram #photographs #phtography #photographers #photographylovers #atlphotographer #graduatephotographer #LAphotographer #houstonphotographer #gradphotographer #blackphotographers #blackphotographer#sonyphotography #freegame #stretchlife #stretchlifevisuals #slv

⚡️How I got the shot & made her react like that to the RAWs 😮📸 – 1️⃣ First thing I do? I ask what vibe they’re going for and where they want to shoot. Once that’s locked in, I build the lighting around it. For this one, I used a 2-light setup — key light in front at an angle, and a back light for separation. – 2️⃣ Then comes composition. I noticed too much negative space on the left, so I adjusted my angle to balance the shot and bring in more of that bookshelf. I exposed for the background and dialed in the lights. – 3️⃣ When I knew I had the shot, I showed her straight off the camera. Her reaction? 🔥 That’s the moment I live for. – 4️⃣ Always show your clients the photos. It builds trust, boosts their confidence, and lets them fix poses they’re unsure about. – 5️⃣ This ain’t just photography — it’s visualizing the experience. From lighting to angles to reactions… I’m here to make it memorable. – #grad #graduationphotographer #gradszn #graduate #southernuniversity #mississippistate #jonescommunitycollege #biloxiphotographer #blackphotographer #universitysouthalabama #lsu #msphotographer #certifiedshooter #louisianaphotographer #famu #alcornstateuniversity #fsu #universityofsouthernmiss #mgccc #muw #alabamaphotographer #slu #batonrougephotographer #universityofalabama #trayvisuals #xavieruniversity #mississippiphotographer #gradphotographer
