The paperpot transplanter didn’t just save time. It changed how our entire farm operated. What used to be a slow, tiring job became a fast, repeatable system we could rely on week after week. That meant: ✔️ More beds planted on time ✔️ Less labor fatigue ✔️ Better crop consistency ✔️ More energy left for other tasks Tools like this only work when they’re part of a bigger system. Crop planning, timing, labor flow, and market demand all have to align. Inside our High-Yield Market Farming course, we break down exactly how we built efficient planting systems like this and how they fit into a focused crop plan and strong sales strategy. If you want your farm to feel simpler, clearer, and more profitable without adding more work, this is for you. 👉 Comment INFO and we’ll send you the details. #smallfarm #gardening #homesteading #growingfood #agriculture
Here are our best Tips on how to store your seeds 🌱 By saving our own seed, we’re not just protecting the diversity of our plants — we’re building resilience in our gardens and ecosystems 🌾 🌿 How to store seeds? Seeds are germinating with the help of light & water. To store your seeds, they need to be placed in the dark & in dry conditions. A stable temperature when storing them will also make sure they last longer. Place them in a drawer or a cupboard which won’t have significant temperature fluctuations. The ideal storing temperature is about 14/15C 57/59F 🌿 Where to store seeds for the next season? Kraft Envelopes placed in a carton shoe box will protect your seeds, reducing plastic waste. You can also reuse and place a desiccant silica gel bag in the shoe box to make it extra dry. You can find them in the packaging of electronic devices, clothes or shoes… An airtight container such as jars can be optimal, make sure it’s dry, you can also place rice to absorb any moisture excess. A photography box can allow you to store lots of seeds, it makes it extra easy to sort them out by variety. Make sure the boxes are dry before placing your seeds inside. Here again you can reuse desiccant silica gel bags to capture any moisture excess. 🌿Where to store seeds for long term preservation? You can freeze your seeds to keep them dormant for a very long period. You can reuse a ziplock bag (make sure there are no holes on the bag), place your seeds inside with a desiccant silica gel during 3 days, to make sure the bag is fully dry. Remove the desiccant bag from the ziplock bag, seal the bag & place them in your freezer. We hope that these tips will help you to efficiently save & store a lot of seeds 🌱🌿 Don’t forget that the Revolution starts in your garden! 💚 Happy Gardening! 🥰 #savingseeds #biodiversity #gardeningtips #storingseeds #growingfood

🤑BUDGET FRIENDLY BUCKET GARDEN. Great for beginners I've found this is perfect for small spaces like apartment patios or backyards. This method can be used with limited sunlight areas as you can easily move the buckets around the garden. Here's what you'll need: •5 gallon food safe buckets •Garden soil for fruits and vegetables • all purpose fertilizer •trellis for beans, and other vining varieties like watermelon and cucumbers. Remember to use the square foot garden method for bucket growing so you do not overcrowd the space. Make sure the buckets are slightly elevated for proper drainage and soil aeration. Comment "GROW" and I'll dm you the links to everything I used! 🌱 #garden #vegetablegarden #growingfood #beginnergardener #reels

Planting used to be one of the most time-consuming tasks on our small farm, eating up labor hours week after week. Then we switched to the paperpot transplanter, and everything changed. By streamlining transplanting, we removed one of our biggest labor bottlenecks, increased field efficiency, and built a planting system that supported higher yields without adding more work. For market gardeners, homesteaders, and small-scale farmers, those efficiencies matter. That single systems upgrade played a major role in helping us consistently hit $5,000+ farmers market days while avoiding burnout. This is exactly the type of system-level decision we break down in our course: how to simplify your workflow, choose the right farm tools, and build a high-yield, low-stress market farm that actually supports your life. 💌 Comment “LIST” and we’ll DM you the waitlist link—or head to the link in our bio to be the first to know when we launch! #smallfarm #marketfarming #marketgardener #homesteader #homesteadlife #gardener #gardening #farmtools #farmlife #sustainablefarming #growfood #growingfood #farmlife #rurallife #countrylife
Planting a tea garden can actually help the rest of your garden grow by attracting pollinators, and a lot of the mouth wateringly delicious plants you can use for tea like nasturtium and marigolds also act as trap crops to keep pests away from your other garden plants. There’s so many plants you could use in a tea garden but some of my favorites are lemon verbena, sage, lavender, calendula, lemon balm, chamomile and rosemary - all edible and delicious additions to your cup. And storing them in a beautiful herbal apothecary cabinet like this just adds to the magic!
