✨”Starstruck” (v13?v14?) ✨ Quick pit stop in PA on my way home from Boone to check out some classy @noahwheels rig. Psyched to nab the third ascent of this one along with a quick ascent of the stand, “Moonstruck” (v13), which I first tried years ago when it was still a project! I also managed to quick ascent of “Lunatic Direct” (v10) which was impossibly hard for me a few years ago! Funny experience on this one. I thought I’d just do the lower start right after the stand, but I kept falling off the last hard move. I couldn’t find the right body position to suck into the wall. Then, on the send burn, I randomly decided to switch my foot beta mid attempt and climbed to the top. Very grateful to be able to get out and climb even though the weather was not ideal. Thanks to my patient belayer @teena_beeena for helping me through the spicy slick spots…which were pretty much all of them. So grateful for all of the clients that signed up for trips this summer and many I now call my friends. This also marks the point in the race where the vast majority of the climbing is behind you.
