Behind every ride is a story. 🚗💜 In the early days of HERide, our founder Jillian personally conducted nearly every vehicle inspection for the first 100 drivers rain or shine, day or night. No office, no team, just vision and hustle. We didn’t just inspect the cars. We poured into our drivers. Each one received a HERide care package with a shirt, pen, air freshener, and a pack of Reign pads because care starts at the first ride. As two Black women tech founders, we didn’t wait for permission—we built @getheride from the ground up and dared industry giants to keep up. On @dshands and @donniwiggins_ ’ Social Proof Podcast, David joked HERide might be worth a $75K investment. But let’s talk real numbers: Garrett Camp put $220K into Uber. Mitch Kapor? $75K. Those early investments became multi million and billion dollar returns. Why not bet on HERide? We’ve got airport approval at the busiest airport in the world, national press, supportive community, growing demand—and we’ve done it all without major backing. Just heart, hustle, and a vision that can be replicated far beyond Atlanta’s city limits. Day 1 at @sloss.tech was a win. 🔥 Started off with the pitch competition where the future of tech was front and center—real solutions for real problems.
