Ah yes, the photo that I took which brought sadness to my heart and that I reference in the most recent podcast episode (as seen in my last reel!) We were in Philadelphia about 10 years ago, before beginning filming the pilot of How To Get Away With Murder. We were getting dressed in potential wardrobe and the hairstyles that were being sent up the ladder for approvals. Meaning, the head creatives would give their approvals or give notes on what they wanted different. And then the person in charge of the photoshoot asked me not to be in these photos. :( In all reality, it made sense. These photos were specifically for the “Keating 5” that were in Night X, the night that Sam Keating was unalived. I wasn’t in those scenes, so why would I be in this picture? They needed to see how the ensemble looked all together. And still, I felt a bit left out. When you’re acting on set, you’re spending a LOT of time with the people in the scenes that you’re in. And you’re bonding with them! So I was a bit bummed not to be spending as much time with these four. But over time...I grew grateful that I wasn’t in these scenes for a while! lol. They shot at night, in the a record breaking freezing cold in Philly.
