Heading to a job right now that came from another HVAC contractor referring us business outside his scope. We send him stuff back that we don’t handle. That’s how this should work between contractors in the same trade, not treating every other guy like competition. If you don’t do commercial, find a commercial contractor to build a relationship with. If there’s certain units or jobs you don’t want to touch, find someone in your area who does and send it their way. These relationships matter more than people think. Referrals close way easier than a cold lead, they’re cheaper than any marketing channel, and the lead quality is already built in because someone you trust vouched for you. Support the trade, not just your own truck. #HVAC #ContractorLife #SkilledTrades #HVACLife #HomeServiceBusiness
HVAC CONTRACTOR AND BUILDER IN UTAH! #hvac #utah #builder
A clean HVAC system starts long before you move into your home. We take extra steps during construction to keep dust and debris out of the system, then perform a final cleaning before move-in. On this home, the primary HVAC filter is located at the air handler in the attic, so there are no filters in the hallway return grilles. A single, properly sized filter at the unit is often the preferred setup because it protects the equipment while maintaining proper airflow. This works especially well when the attic unit is easy to access. Every HVAC system is different, so always follow your HVAC contractor’s recommendations for your specific setup. “Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.” — Proverbs 16:3 #hvac #newhome #diy #dreamhome #hgtv @thebuildshow @apbbuilders @probuildermedia @texas.edge.inspect let me know if we can do anything better on this one!
I never knew the HVAC contractor also had to be a magician. Think about what we’re asking them to do. Take 45° air. Push it through a 125° attic. Run it through an unconditioned porch ceiling. Then somehow deliver comfort back inside the house. That’s not HVAC. That’s magic. The contractor didn’t create the problem. The building design created the problem. And every future homeowner, occupant, tenant, and retiree gets to pay the utility bill for that decision. Month after month. Year after year. I’ve spent more than 50 years in construction, development, real estate, design, and energy efficiency. The more buildings I walk, the more convinced I become that code is the starting point, not the finish line. The Carbonless Builder™ mission is simple: Affordable housing matters. Affordable living matters more. Healthy living matters most. I represent the homeowner. I represent the occupant. I represent the tenant. Not for your lifetime. For the lifetime of the structure. If you’re a builder, developer, architect, engineer, HVAC contractor, manufacturer, energy rater, inspector, homeowner, or investor who wants to help create a better future, send me an email. This is not a franchise. It’s a community of people committed to reducing utility payments, creating healthier indoor environments, and leaving future generations better off than we found them. Every licensee brings knowledge to the table. Every licensee teaches. Every licensee learns. And yes, it’s licensed because the Carbonless Builder™ name has to mean something. If you’re ready to make a difference instead of simply talking about it, send me an email and introduce yourself. [email protected] I’ll respond personally. #carbonless #carbonlessbuilder #energy #conservation #sustainability
Today we met up with Charles from Aireone to get some insight on his rise to success as an HVAC contractor in Waterloo, Ontario! If you’re interested in being featured on our page, dm us the word “Growth Mindset” and we’ll reach out if you qualify.
But are they getting kickbacks?   Here is how the game is played: An inspector comes to your house, finds a problem, and hands you a business card for a specific remediation company or HVAC contractor, insisting they are the only ones who can fix it.   What they don’t tell you? That contractor is paying the inspector a massive under-the-table percentage just for passing them the lead.   When your inspector is getting a financial kickback, their loyalty shifts and no longer are advocating for you.   They are no longer incentivized to write an unbiased, evidence-based protocol for your health. They are incentivized to find problems that fit their buddy’s expensive solutions.   I want to be completely clear: WellHome Inspections takes absolutely zero kickbacks from vendors. Period. 🙅‍♂️❌   As an independent, health-focused assessor, my only job is to be the advocate for the sensitive individual. When I write an audit protocol, it is based strictly on building physics, diagnostic data, and what it takes to keep your family safe.   If I recommend a specific strategy or a trusted specialist, it’s because their work meets our rigorous standards; not because they are padding my wallet.   If you are a sensitive individual dealing with CIRS or MCAS, you cannot afford to have your home’s recovery tied to a financial scheme.   Demand total transparency. If your inspector is getting kickbacks, walk away.   📲 Comment “Well Home” to book a comprehensive, completely unbiased 5-to-10-hour forensic engineering audit. We protect your home, your health, and your wallet.

Most buyers follow the inspector around, nod at everything… then read the report later and realize they don’t know what half of it means. Don’t do that. Ask these questions before the inspector leaves: 1️⃣ “What are the three most expensive problems you see here?” The report may list 30–50 items. This forces the inspector to rank the issues that could actually cost you serious money. Follow up with: “What would you fix first if you were buying this home?” “Is this a repair—or a full replacement?” 2️⃣ “What’s the remaining lifespan of the major systems?” Ask specifically about the: • Roof • HVAC system • Water heater • Electrical panel • Major appliances Obviously, any remaining lifespan is only an estimate based on the system’s age, condition and what the inspector can observe at the time. Follow up with: “Is it approaching the end of its useful life, or is it simply older?” “What should I budget for over the next one to five years?” 3️⃣ “Do you see evidence of past or present water intrusion?” Water problems can hide behind fresh paint, new flooring and recently finished basements. Follow up with: “Where are you seeing the warning signs?” “What is the most likely source?” 4️⃣ “What needs to be evaluated by a specialist before I close?” Home inspectors are generalists. Certain concerns may need to be evaluated by a licensed roofer, electrician, plumber, structural engineer, HVAC contractor or other specialist. Follow up with: “If you were buying this property, who would you call?” Two quick pro tips: 📱 Record the inspector’s verbal summary on your phone—with their permission—so you don’t forget anything. Ask: “What is a safety issue, what is normal maintenance and what needs more immediate attention?” Then review the findings with your real estate agent and attorney to determine what, if anything, makes sense to address during negotiations. Here’s what most contractors don’t realize if you keep seeing me on your phone, that’s not an accident. That’s the exact same system we run for our clients. Your ad. Your face. Your city. Running 24/7 until every homeowner in your market knows your name. Ronnie saw it. Did his research. Made his move. I want to challenge every contractor watching this — why not you? Chances are if you’re seeing this video, you’re going to keep seeing me pop up. Just like we did for Ronnie. That’s exactly what we can do for your business. The best contractor doesn’t always get the call. The best known one does. Are you next? 💡 Save this if you keep seeing my ads and want to know why. 🔁 Tag an HVAC contractor who needs to be the most recognized name in their city. . . . #hvac #hvaclife #hvacbusiness #hvaccontractor #hvacmarketing
