Huge thank you @mrpansinstruments Arriving just in time for Christmas 🎅 Your first pan or a different scale can feel very frustrating to play so here are few tips to get you started ⛄️ 1. Write your notes down in a circle ⭕️ 2.Find the chords you have available I use handpaner.com 🕰️ 3. Practice basic chords maybe pick 2 or 3. 🎹 4. You then have harmony , add some rhythm and slowly the odd note for melody 🎵 5. Practice practice practice 💚 Have a great Monday 🏹⛄️

#60SecondChallenge Let's do this! But, with a twist. The challenge this time is to not only play the Handpan, but I want you to do a short description of how and why the Handpan is important to YOU! Then, I want you to tag at least 3 friends to do the same. Also, share the link for the fundraiser for HCU, share all the sweet #hashtags , too. Let's get as much visibility out there to show just how much this instrument means to so many of you around the world. The Handpan shouldn't be put on a limited shelf, away from more people. It is an instrument of love, reflection, growth, sharing, and heart opening. It needs to be on the laps of people everywhere now. Especially in these crazy times when sometimes all we have to keep us grounded is music, and being able to fully express ourselves. So yes, please engage, and share. I'm going to start by nominating Craig Reynolds ( the O.G. 60 second challenge creator), Jim LoPresti (my super cool Handpan Brother), Matt Campbell (Handpan officianado extraordinaire), Jeremy Nattagh (Beautiful human being and Handpan maestro), Jeremy Arndt (world class Handpan journeyer), David Charrier (Handpan teacher and musician O.G.), Jacob Cole (percussion and Handpan wizard), Nathaniel White (Heart and humor for the Handpan world), Sarah Paz Hyde . (the playful and soulful center of Handpan commUnity), and one more... Rebecca Paige (World class Handpan maker and wonderful human being). This is my list to kick things off. Here are the hashtags and fundraiser link to share. #HCU #SaveTheHandpan #60secondstosavethehandpanchallenge #60SecondChallenge #HandpanLife #Handpan Fundraiser by Ralf Van Den Bor : The handpan may become ILLEGAL - How can YOU stop that? https://share.google/lqYs1Efdyh6ysNAIe Let's share our stories. This weekend I’ve learned from the best in the handpan world at @canariashandpanfestival 🛸 The handpan is an amazing instrument that can be played in so many ways. It’s intuitive and creates an out of this world experience. 🎶 We went beyond skills and learned to listen and feel the handpan. Each composition is unique, and each player can express their authentic story through it. A big thank you to all the amazing teachers, and the team that made this all happen. This was more than an event, a community that loves music deeply came together and created magic. ✨ I am excited to continue my handpan journey and share it at our events and retreats. 🛸 #handpan #soundjourney #medicinemusic
