Not all heroes wear capes... some carry policy! 🦸🏾‍♀️🇨🇦🩸✨ I am SO excited to finally share my Menstrual Equity Superhero Animation! As a Peace Practitioner, I know big changes start with bold visions. This animation brings to life the mission I’m advocating for every day: a world where period products are treated as a basic human right, not a luxury. ⚖️🏛️ From the halls of the Manitoba Legislature to the furthest remote communities, we are advocating for dignity, accessibility, and the end of period poverty. But it was the women I met who truly shaped my journey. Inspired by their strength, I'm dedicated to amplifying voices silenced by inequality. . No More Secrets Mind Body Spirit has long led the fight to end period poverty, and thanks to passionate HERSTORY MAKING advocates like Lynette MEDLEY, my #SisterRep Darisha Parker, #SisterRep Gina Curry, and Pennsylvania’s First Lady Lori Shapiro, we secured state funding for menstrual products in schools for the first time in 2024. I can’t wait to see how much more progress we will make together. #PeriodEquity #WonenSupportingWomen #MadameSpeaker

At the Promise Fund Major Donor Dinner and Award Celebration, @missamerica shared her own journey with reproductive health at just 28 and reminded us why early detection is everything. Conversations like these are exactly why the Promise Fund’s work matters so deeply for women in our community! Let’s keep breaking the silence around women’s health and championing early detection together. The Promise Fund’s mission is to increase survivorship from breast and cervical cancer by providing guided support and access to screenings, as well as early detection, treatment and care beyond diagnosis. Our model gives every woman the opportunity to attain health care, regardless of who she is, where she lives, or her level of income.
