In a culture that often tells us to ‘move on’ and get over it,’ grieving is an act of courage. Movingly slowly through a season of loss and change asks us to be fully present with what needs to be acknowledged and felt so we can move forward with a clarity of heart and a readiness to open again. as long as we are carrying a build up of hurt and old wounds from past relationships, we will find that these unresolved experiences make their way into every romantic relationship that comes after. Let this time with yourself be rich in depth and patience for the process of letting go on your own timeline.
