Open to visitors, with all proceeds supporting the King’s Foundation, Highgrove is a living reflection of passion, purpose, and respect for the natural world. The RHS and The King's Foundation are creating a garden at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show to encourage the nation to discover the joy of getting curious about gardening and the vital contribution plants make to the health of people, places and planet. A wonderful day with The King’s Foundation at Highgrove Gardens, which surround the private residence of King Charles III and Queen Camilla, celebrating the upcoming @The_RHS x @KingsFoundation “Curious Garden” at the Chelsea Flower Show next month, designed by @francestophill. I’ve long admired The King’s commitment to championing nature over the past fifty years. At Highgrove, that philosophy is brought to life through organic practices, no chemical pesticides or fertilisers, and natural methods like nematodes and other biological controls to support healthy soil and biodiversity. Methods I use in my own gardens with great success! Through The King’s Foundation, that ethos continues, promoting sustainability, traditional crafts (of which we saw some incredible examples), and heritage-led communities. After a glimpse behind the scenes today, I can confidently share that the garden is set to be beautiful. Was out with Wags and his team at High Grove today. Thirty six holes designed by @gil_hanse and Jim Wagner. The two courses are being built on over 1,200 acres of citrus groves that are perched on sand dunes with some awesome elevation change. After his sudden hospital visit on Thursday, King Charles left Clarence House on Friday morning. He was seen in the back of the first car, with the window half wound down so people could see who it was. The King headed out of London for the weekend and will spend it in Highgrove, his Gloucestershire estate.
