I asked home bakers in a Facebook group what the hardest part of running their home bakery is. The answers were all over the place… • Finding customers. • Marketing. • Pricing. • Time. • Burnout. • Staying consistent. • Knowing what to make. But the more I read, the more I realized they were all pointing to the same thing. Most home bakers aren’t struggling because they aren’t talented. They’re struggling because they don’t have a simple, repeatable system for running the business side of their home bakery. That’s why I talk so much about customer lists, pre-orders, simple menus, and workflows. When your business has a system, baking gets to be the fun part again. 💛 What’s been the biggest challenge in your home bakery?

Owning a home bakery is hard. And the internet makes it seem like everyone who bakes can make $2k from their driveway overnight. It’s taken me YEARS to build this home bakery. Posting when no one commented or liked it. Pulling the cart into my driveway and having a few customers with lots of leftover product. But you know what I did? I 👏🏻 kept 👏🏻 going 👏🏻 I also KNEW this is what I was meant to do so I kept digging in and figuring it out. Little by little. If you’re a baker who knows this is your calling. But you’re somewhere along the journey and feel stuck but refuse to give up; you are the ideal bakery coaching client.
