Have confidence in yourself. Do not be afraid. Fear does not stop death; it steals life and prevents peace. No amount of worry has ever cured any disease. Cancer first comes as an oppressor, but if you let it, cancer will become your teacher. The lessons it brings are beautiful and wondrous gifts. Indescribable. Unexpected. And perfect. Take this as an opportunity to reset, recalibrate, and redefine what living really is. Look forward to your life after cancer. What gifts will you pass on to others? How will you inspire them? Be ready to tell your story. It has the power to change another person’s life. Now ask yourself, How can I live my life differently? Where have I been small? Where have I been absent? How can I take better care of myself? Do I want to survive or thrive? Choose to be a thriver. Let go of what was and embrace what will be. Let your suffering turn into something beautiful for yourself and for others. This is your moment to heal. You are worthy and you are worth fighting for! —Kim Hanson, breast cancer survivor Excerpt from Day 62 found in my book Beat Cancer Daily (linked in bio). ______ 📢 In case you missed it, I’m offering a FREE screening of my SQUARE ONE Coaching Program this month, from February 18th-27th. ✳️ Comment SQ1 to save your spot! ✳️ SQUARE ONE isn’t just for cancer patients and caregivers – it’s for anyone committed to cancer prevention and achieving optimal health. I’m tired I’m worn My heart is heavy From the work it takes to keep on breathing I’ve made mistakes I’ve let my hope fail My soul feels crushed By the weight of this world And I know that You can give me rest So I cry out with all that I have left Let me see redemption win Let me know the struggle ends That You can mend a heart that’s frail and torn I want to know a song can rise From the ashes of a broken life And all that’s dead inside can be reborn ‘Cause I’m worn I know I need To lift my eyes up But I’m too weak Life just won’t let up And I know that You can give me rest So I cry out with all that I have left Yeah, I’m worn. 🎗I’m always away on the day you went home. I’m always wishing I could somehow undo the ending. We chased a cure for over 19 years. Seven years later and I’m still chasing. Chasing a cure for the cancer that took you. Chasing away grief, chasing peace, chasing donors, chasing healing, chasing memories, chasing people and relationships that don’t want to be caught. Chasing the same light and love that you illuminated. You had this song on your Jesus music playlist. I get it. I get it in a different way than you did but I get it because of your journey and I wish it were all different. My heart is heavy but I need to lift my eyes up. You’re still remembered. You’re still celebrated. You’re fight continues through your foundation. I’m another year closer. I’ll miss you until I’m with you. 💛, Dat Mama.
Want to join the fight we must win? ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) is a terminal disease that progressively paralyzes by 💀'ing neurons in the brain and spinal collumn. On average, those diagnosed with ALS live only 2 to 5 years after the onset of symptoms. This brutal disease strips away the ability to move, speak, eat, and eventually breathe. Despite these devastating impacts, we are still searching for THAT CURE! 💔 The urgency for increased research and support is critical as the number of people diagnosed with ALS is projected to rise by 70% by 2040. We need to act NOW to change this trajectory. Here are four impactful ways you can join the fight against ALS: 1. **Donate to ALS Research**: Every contribution, no matter the size, helps fund vital research that could lead to breakthroughs in treatment and, ultimately, a cure. 2. **Raise Awareness**: Use your voice on social media, share posts, and educate others about ALS. Awareness can lead to more funding and support from broader communities. 3. **Support by Shopping**: When you purchase from my shop (link in bio), a portion of the profits goes directly to ALS charities. This way, you not only get something fabulous but also contribute to a crucial cause. 4. **Follow Me** (The low-energy, high-impact route) A follow, like and a share puts the message out there about ALS/MND while preserving you're spoons, your monies, your valuable time! And it is no less valuable to us just because it takes a bit less effort! You still rock! ❤️ So...you up for it?! #EndALS #FightALS #HopeForACure #LivingFully #KeepGoing #TheReality #MND #LetsGetSerious #TogetherInThis #Warriors #WheelchairWoman #DisabledBabe #FightOn #WeMove #ChronicIllness #FatigueFighter #AboveLivingSmall
A tiny bit of hope can keep you going. But ALS is really cruel and so hope is very scary to have. But I did have hope. Not for anything big (like a total reversal ahem) I don’t need to run a marathon, just a flicker of something would have sufficed. But it didn’t happen, nothing did. I really despise ALS Btw I did a type of stem cell treatment. While I’ve heard its success in others, I felt absolutely no different. Not sure if I should try again or not. Hey, it’s Erin. I share my journey as a young person with ALS. It’s scary but I thank you for your follows and shares. Together you are helping to bring awareness to an underfunded and uncured terminal disease. . . #alsawareness #als #endals #exosomes #positivelife #imtooyoungforthis #terminalillness #unsteadyandready #hopeforacure #fightingals #raredisease #imnotdoneyet #notaquitter
𝐻𝑜𝑙𝑑𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑜𝑛𝑡𝑜 𝑦𝑜𝑢 ♥️ My mom is still with us (in body, not mind). I’ve gotten many messages asking about her and sadly I think we’re at the final stage. What a heathreaking disease Alzheimer’s is. The last two video clips are of her recently. I plan on continuing her page and hope to make some sort of difference with this disease, mainly in my quest to help and support caregivers. Stay tuned.. 🥰 As always, thank you for loving my momma 🙏🏼 #alzheimers #alzheimersdisease #hopeforacure
You see two smiling girls. I see my world. My daughters, Kayla and Nora, live with a rare bone marrow failure disorder called Shwachman-Diamond Syndrome. There is no cure yet, but a life-saving gene therapy project at Boston Children’s Hospital has the potential to change that. I want to be very clear about how you can help. Facebook monetizes my videos. That means when you watch, let it play through (or even replay), like, comment, or share, Facebook pays me and that money is being put toward funding this gene therapy project. You don’t have to donate directly to help make a real impact. Your engagement alone helps fund research and pushes this story to more people who need to see it. If you do want to go further, I’ve included the official donation link in the caption. But watching, engaging, and sharing truly makes a difference. Thank you for helping me fight for a cure. 🤍 🔗 http://secure.childrenshospital.org/goto/RareLifeMom Link also in bio.
