Today was the launch of the @goodfridayappeal but it was also my port surgery and first chemotherapy day!
For those following me you know I relapsed with a new tumour 12-18months ago and the doctors have been monitoring it ever since. It was inevitable that I would resume chemotherapy I just didn’t know when. Well now I do. It was today. So I will be on chemotherapy for the rest of this year. We need to shrink the new tumour and put it to sleep! Fingers crossed 🤞🏻
My tumour is not operable nor curable but it responds to treatment. My doctors have intervened at a time when they thought I may start to have symptoms.
I am ineligible for a lot of new treatments but I’m in the best hands at the @rchmelbourne so please don’t send me treatment options because if they were an option my oncologist and team would suggest them.
I’m feeling ok! I’m positive and I’ll get through this again. Thank you to each and every one of you who follow me, encourage me and send me positive vibes I greatly appreciate it. I may not get back to everyone personally but I do receive and read all the messages.
I welcome all the prayers, well wishes, kindness and support. 🙏🏼

PS I had a fall rolled my ankle grade 2 sprain and split my knee open on a wire fence but…I avoided stitches!! I’m good!

I may have lost a few weeks, but thank God I have days to look forward to now-because hallelujah, He got me up! Something so unexpected happened to me on 2nd Oct 2025 I found myself hospitalized for two weeks. But let me tell you, GOD! I have a testimony like no other. There is no one who can convince me that prayer doesn't work or that my God isn't a healer. My God is AWESOME-a way-maker, a miracle-worker. He is my ALL.
My body was literally fighting itself from within.
But GOD. His grace carried me. He knew exactly who to have in that room with me and exactly how he would pull me through. I'm so incredibly grateful. To everyone who prayed, called, texted, checked in-your love did not go unnoticed.
Major surgery? Still smiling? Absolutely.
Smiling through the recovery-this hospital bed isn't my home, it's just the starting block. Every setback is a setup for an amazing comeback. You never know how strong you are until being strong is your only option

Last night saw another A&E visit due to a limb injury. Immy has hEDS (Hypermobility Ehlers Danlos Syndrome) which means she is prone to accidents and lives with pain. Off I went to the hospital with the baby strapped to my front dragging a wheelchair behind armed with a bag of snacks.
Days like yesterday, the weight of being a Mum to a child with a disability can feel especially heavy. It can feel like spinning a lot of plates all while trying to balance on one leg. Luckily this time we avoided another broken bone 🫶
But then I remind myself most of the time being a Mum to a child with a disability has brought me more joy than I ever thought possible. My days are filled with fun, laughter and endless love. And those days far outweigh the tough ones.
