Basset hounds playing in slow motion part 2! I really want to think that when they play it's as dramatic as we think it looks. But also why does it feel like their running in slow motion is their exact speed in real time... #bassethound #funnydogs #dogpack #slowmo #dogreels

Crimson Crown Lucy, the huntress!! Lucy came to show me her prize, a freshly caught pheasant, and isn’t she proud!!! 🤣😆 She very deliberately brought it over to show me before she lay down to enjoy her snack. I’ve been wondering why she’s been looking so sleek lately… somehow I’m thinking this might not be her first pheasant! 😂 #beaglemoments #hounds #beagle #huntress

This is a Taigan, a dog breed the nomads trained to hunt alongside eagles. Most often, they're used to protect our livestock from wolves. It is said one Taigan can defeat up to 6 wolves simultaneously in battle. (No, I do not believe this) Taigans are sight hounds, exclusive to the nation of Kyrgyzstan. Think of them like Afghan hounds but with shorter coats. Certainly the animal I am most excited to afford, once I build my farm.

Clover’s daily “work from home” routine involves playing with her toy right after lunch. Then, she is good for about a two hour nap by my desk while I work. 😂 Basset hounds may have a reputation for being couch potatoes, and while the land walrus likes a good nap, she is very active. She plays during the day and she loves to go on mile long walks. With the Phoenix heat this Summer our walks have been sparse, but hopefully those will pick up again soon. ☘️

Yesterday I took Milo to splash hounds for a little swim. He is a very good swimmer however he needs to build his confidence in the water so he can enjoy it especially on these VERY hot days! Thank you Lucy at splash hounds for being so good with Milo 💙🐾 #frenchie #frenchiesofinstagram #platinumfrenchies #frenchbulldoglove #frenchbulldoglife
