Moving is so expensive, we wanted to save money where we could, our biggest saving was with self removal, we hired a van and done all the moving ourself, with some help from some friends. @chantellechamps taught me this trick to make moving clothes quick and easy. The “Happily Ever After Divorce” House Tour 🥰🏡💕✨ 6 months ago I got the keys to our little Old School House 🔑✨I’ll never forget how I felt that day…sheer relief at being able to start a fresh chapter on our own 🫶🏼 I live here with my two teenage children (boy and girl) 🩵💕 and two dogs 🐶🐶 🐾 . Living in this house for the last 6 months has felt like a breath of fresh air! 💕✨ It’s a happy home full of love, laughter, fun and new memories. I’ve worked SO hard these last 6 months to make the house feel like our home. We loved our previous home but sadly not the memories we had there during the last few years of living there. This house is much smaller but it has lots of similarities to our old house 🏡💕✨ Peace really is something you appreciate after living with turmoil and stress for a sustained period of time. I’ll never take it for granted 🕊️💫 The house isn’t finished but it’s taking shape nicely! ‘I hope you don’t regret it!’ Someone messaged me to say this! You know some people would question why I’m moving and I’ve got to say buying this new house has made me reflect and realise how lovely this current home is-more than ever. And I’m not ready to say goodbye to it just yet so I’m grateful that we can renovate the new bungalow without having to move out of this. But I’ve got to say the whole process of finding and buying this bungalow just all fell into place. We have always had this plan that when the kids are older that we then would move, use the equity in the house and do something for us and help us to become more financially free in the future. It really did feel right I’m super excited to get started on the build but grateful that I can enjoy our current home for a little longer. I’m actually finishing off spaces and doing some things on this current house that I wanted to last year but didn’t. I’m going to try and get going with these over the next few weeks while we wait for planning to come back for the bungalow. So what will become of this new home?…what I will say is that we’re keeping it still as a bungalow and making sure that all my kids still have bedrooms😂So it will go from a 2 bed to a 4 bed. I want to go into a deep dive into what we have planned and over the next few weeks I’ll be sharing some of those ideas with you too❤️I don’t want to jinx anything though until we’ve got the go ahead 😂but I love the plans we have and I think you’ll love them too! .
