Behind closed doors: Unveiling our hidden laundry space! 💫 BEFORE & AFTER Our laundry comes straight off our kitchen and living area, so we really wanted the washing machine/dryer and washing baskets hidden away. I didn’t want to be relaxing at the dinning table looking at all the washing I had still to do in the laundry. Granted, having the laundry off the kitchen is actually quite handy but so glad I was able to keep it hidden. We used the Bunnings design service, the realistic 3D rendered images made the planning stage so much easier and it was so exciting to see the vision for my laundry come to life! Turn insulation foam into the cutest Pin Board 📌 I have a little artist at home and her papers were slowly taking over every surface in the house. So we created a dedicated desk area and this custom DIY pin board to display all her artwork. I couldn’t find one big enough (or cute enough) without spending a small fortune, so we made our own for about $60. The best part is that you can get creative with the fabric! This is the place — or at least it’s starting to become it✨ A week ago today building work started on our kitchen renovation, after a full weekend of clearing, boxing, selling, donating and rediscovering a lot of baking tins! Amid the dust and demolition, it’s feeling like the start of something new. After years of making do in a long galley kitchen that never quite worked (filming and photography mostly happened in the front room on my pine table!), we’ve finally started opening things up. Off came the roof, in came the light and a sense of possibility with it. It’s still mid-renovation, but I’m so excited and inspired to get back into the space, start creating again, and share the process along the way. Collaboration commerciale | Nouveaux projets travaux  👏🏻🛠 Je suis en plein dans mes moodboards car on se lance dans la rénovation d’un espace de la maison dont on ne s’est pas encore occupés : une chambre de 15m2 avec sa salle de bain et ses toilettes attenants, que l’on utilise pour recevoir nos proches et que j’ai envie de rendre cosy à souhait 🤍 Au programme : lisser et repeindre les murs, changer les sols (jonc de mer dans la chambre et le couloir, carrelage dans la SDB et les toilettes), repeindre le carrelage mural dans la salle de bains et poser du papier peint dans les toilettes. La semaine dernière, j’ai pris 2 cours de bricolage avec @leroymerlin.bordeauxlac et ça m’a donné tellement confiance en moi pour me lancer dans mon projet ! J’ai appris à bien préparer un mur et à poser un revêtement mural mais aussi à poser du carrelage au mur et au sol. J’ai pu poser toutes mes questions et j’ai reçu plein de conseils 👌🏻 J’adore apprendre et faire des travaux manuels donc j’ai vraiment apprécié ces cours, accessibles aux débutants ! Ça m'a rassuré et motivé ! Les thématiques des ateliers @leroymerlin sont hyper variées, je vous recommande chaudement l’expérience si vous avez un projet bricolage en tête 👌🏻 On commence les travaux ce week-end et on prévoit d’avoir terminé à la fin de l’été 🙏🏻 J’ai déjà hâte de vous montrer le résultat à la rentrée !
