Im finally happy to share a project I’ve put a ton of time, energy, and effort into!
For the last few months I’ve been focused on creating for myself and this is one of those projects.
I wanted to focus on the lack of elevated clothing silhouettes while also taking my bold design approach with the elements from the @themarching100 and inspiration from styles from the 90s
The jacket is made from all 100% lambskin leather and embroidery.
The front is inspired by the field lines on the patch. The traditional yard line numbers were replaced with 06/1/1946 to represent the founding date of June 1, 1946. The band motto is in cursive across the orange stripe.
The back features the iconic drum major silhouette doing the nifty in front of the globe with the phrase “in all the world, there’s only one” with “Incomparable” in bold text and the M100 logo at the bottom right.
This is definitely one of my favorite projects and I will be sharing more details behind the scenes of how I created this so be on the lookout for that🎨🤝🏾🎺
