On Monday Lala protested family court abuse. I’ll be honest I don’t know much about the issue. I have dealt with a narcissist though, and I can imagine how awful it would be to go through a custody battle with one. I am thankful everyday that my narcissistic ex moved across the country and left me and my children a lone! This is Tina Swithin she is an author and advocate. Right now she is advocating for a brave 15 year old girl named Lexi. Lexi’s father was arrested on Thursday for not forcing his daughter to see her mother against her wishes. Lexi is being told he will stay there until she agrees to go with her mother. Lexi’s mom sent strangers to her home to transport her to a “reunification” camp called Turning Points. Lexi’s 2 little brother’s are already there. Lexi has baricaded herself in her home while “transporters” wait outside, at times taunting her by knocking on the door and covering her ring camera. Please share Lexi’s story. Why gag orders are wrong. IMO it is a violation of our human rights not to be able to talk about our life and to be gagged from talking about it on social media by Family Court Judges. Social media and the internet is now being found to be vital to women subjected to domestic violence to seek connection, validation and information after isolation due to coercive control and other forms of abuse. Taking this agency away from women ought to be prohibited. It is a demonisation of a normal and natural human response to tell our stories. This is enforced via fines, incarceration/jail and minimisation of contact with their children. In Australia this is enforced under the evidence act s121. #istandwithbrody #vawg #humanrights

We need to talk about what’s happening to Ocean Kent, and what my daughters endured due to family court failures.
