They’re together again.🤍 Michelle Trachtenberg and Hayden Panettiere shared the screen in Disney’s Ice Princess back in 2005. Now, more than 20 years later, they’re both gone far too soon. Hayden, who played Gen Harwood, passed away at just 36. Michelle, who played Casey Carlyle, passed away last year at 39. Two incredibly talented actresses who became a part of so many childhoods. Two familiar faces from a movie we grew up with, whose memories will live on every time we watch it. Rest in peace, Hayden and Michelle. You’ll never be forgotten. 🕊️

🎬: Ice Princess (2005) Ice Princess was one of those Disney movies that made an entire generation want to lace up a pair of skates. Released in 2005, the film followed Casey Carlyle, played by Michelle Trachtenberg, a brilliant high school student who discovers that her passion for physics could actually help her become a figure skater. Along the way, she crosses paths with Gen Harwood, played by Hayden Panettiere, her talented rival who eventually becomes an important part of Casey's journey. The movie also starred Kim Cattrall and Joan Cusack. Now, following the deaths of Michelle Trachtenberg in 2025 and Hayden Panettiere in 2026, Ice Princess feels even more emotional to revisit. Ahora vuelven a patinar juntas.

Rest in Peace Hayden Panettiere (1989-2026) ❤️‍🩹🕊️ the world has lost one of the greats from our childhood, #haydenpennetiere, truly a devastating news and gone too soon. Hayden has played so many iconic, beautiful, and empowering roles throughout the early 2000-2010s. we’re forever grateful for her contribution to this industry. 💜 I’ve known her from Ice Princess (2005), a role that’s shaped my young adulthood and given such strength to female characters I’ve only just begun to see during that time. both Ice Princesses gone too soon. thank you for the memories Hayden. 🤍 @haydenpanettiere #rip #purplerain #iceprincess #2000snostalgia
