In 2021, Oliver Zak and Selom Agbitor appeared on Shark Tank to pitch Mad Rabbit, their all-natural tattoo aftercare brand. They sought a $500,000 investment for 5% equity, valuing the company at $10 million. Impressed by their vision and product, Mark Cuban invested $500,000 for 12% equity, adjusting the company’s valuation to approximately $4.17 million. By October 2022, the company reported sales of $14 million. They expanded their product line beyond the original aftercare cream to include other tattoo-related items. As of 2024, Mad Rabbit has continued its upward trajectory, with the company being valued at over $56 million. They also entered into an equity partnership, becoming the exclusive tattoo aftercare brand of Inked magazine. Their products are available on their official website, as well as through retailers like Walmart and Amazon. Follow @hustlers for more like this 🤝 #entrepreneur #business #hustlers

From the bottom of my heart—thank you. 💛 @everyone To every single one of you who showed up, stood by me, and rallied for the kids of the B Positive Foundation—thank you. Your votes, your donations, your shares, your words of encouragement, and your time—none of it went unnoticed. Because of your love and support, we were able to raise over $4000 CAD to help children fighting the hardest battles of their lives. That’s not just money… that’s hope. That’s medicine. That’s another day of laughter. That’s one more miracle in the making. You showed up for them—and for me—and I do not take that lightly. I won’t forget it. Ever. To my amazing community, if you ever need someone to stand by you, I’m here. DM me anytime—seriously. If I can help, I will. I value your friendship and the incredible energy you poured into this mission. Together, we made a difference—and the future feels brighter because of you. ✨ Here’s to love, resilience, and showing up for each other—always. thank you to ink magazine for having me in this competition. We have been able to connect the world in an incredible cause.🕊️🫶 With deep gratitude, Shauna 💛 @Inked Originals @The B+ Foundation @Inked Magazine @bangbangnyc #ForTheKids #ThankYou #BPositiveFoundation #CommunityLove #GratefulHeart #WeDidThisTogether
Andrea Bernard experienced deep vein thrombosis twice: shortly after giving birth 17 years ago and again about a decade later. Andrea, who is a Community Thrombassador with the National Blood Clot Alliance, was found to have a May-Thurner syndrome, a vascular disorder that increases her risk of blood clots. As a result, she takes a blood thinning medication every day, which means it is important for medical personnel to be aware of her elevated bleeding risk if she’s ever in an emergency situation. Many people who take blood thinners choose to wear medical alert jewelry, such as a wristband or necklace. But Andrea opted for something different: A tattoo. The inside of her left arm bears the words “blood thinner” in cursive script and a medical alert symbol. Now, Andrea is showcasing her unique form of self-expression by competing in Inked Magazine’s Your Ink, Your Story contest, which celebrates tattoos that tell a personal narrative. The winner is awarded $20,000, and Andrea has pledged to donate $5,000 directly to the National Blood Clot Alliance and the rest to help fund her work as an NBCA Community Thrombassador. Andrea is no stranger to spreading blood clot awareness. She earned the NBCA Thrombassador’s Outrageous Outreach award earlier this year in recognition of her work. Vote for Andrea at the link in bio to help her continue to tell her story and spread life-saving awareness. Click “free daily vote,” which allows you to vote once every 24 hours. Voting closes Aug. 31. Good luck, Andrea, and thank you for all you do to help Stop the Clot! ***Please consult your doctor first if you take a blood thinner and are considering a tattoo. #stoptheclot #thrombassador #tattoo #maythurnersyndrome #mts #medicalalert #bloodclots #bloodthinner #anticoagulant #inkedmagazine #yourinkyourstory
