Instead of fighting, ignoring, or listening to your inner critic, try this: 1. Think of your inner critic like a tantruming toddler and not a parent or boss. 2. Thank it for its input and then move on with your day. 3. See if there’s 1% of truth in the criticism, and then asks, “what are my choices here?” #innercritic #selfcriticism #selftalk #selftalkmatters #partswork #talkingtomyself
I try to use my dog’s pov when I make assumptions about how I’m percieved. If you don’t have one I asked mine and he thinks you’re great and not too much or not enough but just right and you’re not lazy you’re exhausted and deserve rest and love and a sweet treat. (The goal isn’t to blame our parents for everything. We want to notice when an old narrative *that was never ours* shows up so we can create a new one thats kinder and more accurate). #innercritic #perception #selfcompassion #narrativetherapy

You'll feel drastically better in a matter of minutes! I'm so excited for you to finally rewrite the programs that were never yours to carry 💚 Here are 8 things your subconscious learned and what it may still be telling you today: 1. "I am not allowed to want more." Wanting things for yourself once felt selfish or unsafe, so you learned to shrink your desires. 2. "I have to earn my place." Love, rest, and success never felt freely given. You learned everything had to be justified. 3. "My feelings are too much." Your emotions were treated like an inconvenience, so you learned to suppress them. 4. "If I slow down something bad will happen." Your nervous system learned that staying busy meant staying safe. 5. "I am responsible for how everyone else feels." You became the peacekeeper and forgot you were never meant to carry everyone. 6. "Success is not safe." Good things felt temporary, so your subconscious learned to brace for loss. 7. "I have to figure everything out alone." Asking for support once led to disappointment, so independence became protection. 8. "I am not enough as I am." The deepest program of all, quietly shaping everything beneath the surface. After 20 years of working at the subconscious level this is what I know: these are not personality traits. They are protective patterns your subconscious learned, and they can be rewritten. Wounds this deep do not heal through willpower or positive thinking. They heal when you finally reach the level where they actually live… 🔥 Comment "APP" and I'll send you our hypnotherapy app with dozens of recordings you can begin listening to immediately. Creativity begins with permission.
The permission to imagine beyond what feels realistic.
To stay in possibility a little longer than the inner critic wants. Improv works because the answer keeps moving forward.
Ideas build instead of shutting down.
When belief systems tighten, creativity quiets.
When doubt runs the room, imagination stays small. #practicalspirituality #creativity #innercritic #possibility #selfexpression

Your brain thinks it’s helping when it criticizes your ideas before they’ve even landed. But more than a critic, creativity needs a vessel. Let it move through you before you judge it. That’s how the good stuff gets made. #BeTheVessel #CreativeBrain #Neuroplasticity #PoeticNeuroscience #OverthinkingRecovery #HealingThroughCreativity #BrainTips #InnerCritic #Dysregulation #ADHDTips #RewireYourBrain #WellnessTools #MentalHealthAwareness #QuietMindClub #DailyRewire #TheUtter
Your inner critic points at a belief you picked up long ago. Hear what it's flagging, and answer it instead of obeying it. New episode out now — the full episode is linked in my bio. #InnerCritic #MentalHealth
15 things your inner critic says and what they are actually telling you about your subconscious programming. 👇 1️⃣ "I am not good enough." → Love felt conditional on performance. 2️⃣ "I do not deserve this." → You learned wanting things for yourself was selfish. 3️⃣ "I am going to fail anyway." → Hoping felt more painful than not trying. 4️⃣ "I need to be perfect or people will leave." → Love came with conditions attached. 5️⃣ "I should be further along by now." → Achievements were expected, not celebrated. 6️⃣ "Nobody really understands me." → You learned to hide your real self to stay safe. 7️⃣ "I cannot trust anyone." → Your subconscious is still protecting you from old threats. 8️⃣ "I am too much." → You were made to feel like your emotions were an inconvenience. 9️⃣ "I have to do everything myself." → Asking for help led to disappointment. 🔟 "I do not have time to rest." → Slowing down felt unsafe. 1️⃣1️⃣ "Success will not last." → Your mind expects things to go wrong. 1️⃣2️⃣ "I always ruin things." → You carried blame that was never yours. 1️⃣3️⃣ "I am not as capable as people think." → Impostor syndrome is a learned pattern. 1️⃣4️⃣ "If people really knew me they would leave." → Being fully seen did not feel safe. 1️⃣5️⃣ "I have to earn my place." → You learned existing was not enough. These were not personality traits you were born with. They were programming installed before you had any say. What was installed can be uninstalled, and that is exactly what the audio sessions inside my app are designed to do….
