“What does it take to push the boundaries of physics and innovation?” Dr. Thounaojam Umeshkanta Singh from the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences highlights how physics education goes beyond theory, integrating computational tools, experimental research, and interdisciplinary learning. The Department of Physics at Bennett University offers a robust B.Tech Engineering Physics program, with an upcoming M.Tech in Materials Science launching next academic session, opening new frontiers in advanced research. At Bennett, students learn to explore, experiment, and transform ideas into impactful scientific solutions. #BennettUniversity #EngineeringPhysics #CampusLife #LifeatBennettUniversity #TimesNow (BTech Admission, Non-linear Dynamics, Computational Research, best college for engineering physics)
Interdisciplinary isn’t a buzzword at DKU. From interpreting Buddhist visions of the cosmos, to building privacy-preserving health tech, to understanding politics and economics in relation to people’s real lives, students don’t just study disciplines; they work across them. Because the world’s biggest questions don’t belong to one field. #DKU #DukeKunshanUnviersity #InterdisciplinaryEducation
Send this to someone who doesn’t appreciate space travel and should 🛰️🚀👾 @nasa @nasaartemis are right at the forefront of medical innovations with studies in individualized health, the effects of extreme environments and stressors on our organs, and more. If you aren’t a believer in science and its interdisciplinary influence, look up how NASA research helped shape: medical imaging, ICU patient monitoring, robotic surgery, drug delivery, cardiac pumps, and memory foam. 🫡 Can we finally agree with world isn’t flat?! 🌎 #artemisii #nasa #spacetravel #earthlings

Ryoji Ikeda’s solo presentation of ‘data.gram [n°11]’ is now on view as part of Zero 10 in Art Basel! Zero 10 is the fair’s global initiative dedicated to art of the digital era, bringing together leading and next-generation artists, galleries, and interdisciplinary practices exploring the relationship between art, technology, and culture. This exhibition transforms the Event Hall at Messe Basel into a platform for artistic experimentation and exchange, the program unfolds across exhibitions, live conversations, and new forms of image-making. @ryoji_ikeda • Ikeda masterfully manages vast scientific data to compose these works, creating a choreographed, stunning visual and auditory experience. Bright lights, visceral patterns, and calming acoustics interplay and reveal how Ikeda’s relentless audiovisual works evoke digital media’s opacity and totalitarian grip on our lives. — Fernanda Brenner, curator and writer In ‘data.gram [n°11]’ , Ryoji Ikeda explores the aesthetic potential of scientific data to display different scales of the Universe. Those audiovisual installations allow viewers to visualize some of the less well understood aspects of our cosmos – from the tiny world of quantum particles to human-sized environments and the vast scales of clusters of galaxies. Ikeda uses data from established research institutions to craft a story about the natural world. • Curated by Eli Scheinman and Trevor Paglen under the anchor theme The Condition, Zero 10 marks the initiative’s first co-curated edition and largest presentation to date. • Video by instanT Productions All rights reserved ©️ Ryoji Ikeda Studio, 2026 Courtesy of the Artist and Almine Rech • Art Basel Basel 2026 Booth E2 Jun 18 — Jun 21, 2026 Messe Basel

At the AI+Science conference, @StanfordHAI Senior Fellow Angèle Christin argues that interdisciplinary discussions are essential for collectively shaping how AI technologies become embedded in society, with institutions like @Stanford uniquely positioned to facilitate these conversations.
Congrats to our senior! He will be attending the University of Texas in the Plan II honors and Civics Honors program! Plan II was made for him…. Maybe he will even let me share his entrance essay! It’s a highly competitive interdisciplinary honors program- like a small school within a giant University. We are so incredibly proud of how Holden has worked and loved and served his school community. The future is bright with him in it!

Organized as part of the European REACH project, the international workshop-festival Improtech brings together the universal art of improvisation with digital intelligence and AI culture through a program of conferences, interdisciplinary workshops, installations, performances, and concerts. After traveling across three continents and gathering leading artists, researchers, and scientific figures in the field, Improtech returned to its alma mater, IRCAM, in December 2025 for an exceptional edition dedicated to the relationship between improvisation, composition, and spatiality, featuring a special tribute to the renowned composer and music AI pioneer George Lewis. During the festival, NSDOS and Noam Assayag presented Activate Cities: Urban Inspiration and Live-coding, a workshop-performance exploring urban attention, dérive, and generative composition through live coding. Developed from Noam Assayag’s Activating Cities practice — described as “the lost art of getting lost” in the urban environment — the project transforms fragments of the city into compositional material, weaving together ambient music, improvisation, textual instructions, and algorithmic systems. Using the open-source software Orca and principles inspired by cellular automata, the performance investigates how constraints, movement, and sensory observations can generate new forms of collective perception and sonic narration. #livecoding #orca #digitalart #poetry

Meet Aziza Kadyri (@aziza.kadyri), who just completed her residency at The Watermill Center! Kadyri is a London-based interdisciplinary artist and co-founder of Qizlar, a collective of artists and activists from Uzbekistan and its diaspora. Working across textiles, installation, performance, and creative technology, her practice explores how handcraft, Central Asian identities, and global digital cultures intersect. In 2024, Kadyri represented Uzbekistan at the 60th Venice Biennale alongside Qizlar Collective with "Don't Miss The Cue," a large-scale project exploring AI biases, migration, and decolonial feminist tools. Her work has been shown at the Bukhara Biennial, the Hangzhou Triennial of Fiber Art, KINDL Centre for Contemporary Art in Berlin, and the Prague Quadrennial of Performance, among others.
