The result is a permanent, damage-resistant label that will not peel or fail, which is especially critical in cold storage environments where extreme temperatures can compromise traditional adhesive labels.

Cross docking becomes a lot more efficient when warehouse operators can focus on managing the flow instead of walking the warehouse. Our partner @SmartMove Solutions, has implemented a smart cross-docking solution at Dutch Logistics provider @Sanders Fritom.
The use case uses five XP15 pallet trucks for inbound and cross-dock pallet transport. When goods arrive, a worker simply scans the QR code on each pallet with a handheld scanner. The system identifies the correct destination area and dispatches an XP15 robot to transport the pallet to the right outbound drop-off location.
With more than 200 destinations in this distribution center, this turns what would normally involve significant walking and manual transport into a simple, scalable process.
The result?
✅ Less manual transport and non-productive walking
✅ Simple operation for warehouse teams
✅ One worker can manage up to five robots at the same time
Instead of spending their shifts walking long distances, warehouse workers effectively become robot managers: scan the pallet, dispatch the truck, and keep the material flow moving.
And most importantly, the team at @Sanders Fritom is extremely satisfied with how easy the solution is to use. A big thank you to @Berto de Bijl and the SmartMove Solutions team for this great use case and implementation!
