En enero de 1976, cuando Michael Jackson todavía era el joven líder de The Jackson 5, el grupo apareció en The Carol Burnett Show para interpretar “Forever Came Today”. 🕺
En esta presentación, Michael comparte escenario con sus hermanos Jackie, Tito, Marlon y Randy Jackson, ya que Jermaine no formaba parte de esta actuación.
“Forever Came Today” era una canción originalmente grabada por The Supremes en 1967, que The Jackson 5 llevó a su propio estilo y convirtió en una interpretación mucho más funk/disco. La versión del grupo fue lanzada como sencillo en 1975.
Pero hay un momento de la presentación que terminó llamando especialmente la atención: mientras Michael está bailando, se enreda accidentalmente con un cable.
