Mi hanno appena inviato questo video dal San Diego Book festival organizzato da @kpbs a @ucsandiego.
Il mio libro "This is What I Live For" continua il suo viaggio! Ringrazio la professoressa Clarissa Clò, Parker Edison e William Nericcio di @sdsupress per il supporto. ❤️

I remember KPBS always being on in the background growing up—before we even had cable. It’s surreal to now be part of one of their miniseries, especially one that carries so much weight.
Truth be told, I’ve done a lot of interviews, podcasts, and speeches in my life. But somehow, I was nervous for this one. Maybe it’s because I knew how important it was for my voice to represent the Vietnamese community—especially the youth who are still struggling to find their place in a world that often doesn’t see them.
This wasn’t just about sharing my story. It was about honoring the silence so many of our families carried. I’ve done a lot of random things in life that ended up taking me to unexpected places. This was one of them—and I’m so grateful it was.
Stay tuned—can’t wait to share more soon.

Last week, with the help of @vspvisioncare Eyes of Hope, Dr. Jenn was able to provide charitable vision care to children and teens in San Diego who needed it most.
These children and teens face so many challenges in life and barriers to success, but clear Vision and healthy eyes should not be one of them. 80% of learning is processed through our eyes, and it helps children and teens prepare for school, sports, driving, and everyday life.
Thank you to @vspvisioncare for the opportunity to give back to my community, to my fellow colleagues who donated their time and expertise to provide care to these children and teens (@kristinketan @clairemontoptometry ). Thank you to @kpbs and to Genesis and Jordy of Lindsay Community High for sharing your stories with us and allowing the media to capture some important coverage to help spread awareness of vision care needs!
