Kansas City just got ranked for friendliness… and the results might surprise you. Nextdoor just released a list of the 20 friendliest neighborhoods in Kansas City, based on real interactions between neighbors on their platform. Things like neighbors helping each other out, recommending local businesses, sharing free items, and responding to welcome posts all factor into the score. According to their data, Waldo takes the top spot with a perfect friendliness score. Not shocking if you’ve ever spent time there. Here’s the full list of Kansas City’s friendliest neighborhoods: 1. Waldo 2. Davidson 3. Marlborough Heights 4. Ruskin Village & Heights 5. Winnwood 6. River View 7. Highland View 8. Ridgefield 9. Blue Hills 10. Nashua 11. Bristol Park 12. Downtown Kansas City 13. If you think Kansas City is just a flyover town, you haven’t experienced it the right way.✨ Send this to someone who still doesn’t get it. Comment KC and I’ll send you my free Kansas City local guide.✨ Kansas City has a reputation, and truthfully, people who have never spent real time here are only seeing a fraction of what it offers.✨ This is not a city you simply pass through. It’s a city you move to, settle into, and wonder why you didn’t make the move sooner.✨ There is so much to love about life in Kansas City and the surrounding suburbs. ✨ Slow mornings at Summer Moon Coffee in Overland Park. Weekends spent at the Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens, strolling the Country Club Plaza, or enjoying all the lifestyle this city offers. ✨ Some of the best local restaurants in Kansas City are part of what makes living here feel so special. Personal favorites include Trezo Mare in Briarcliff and Osteria Bianchi in Liberty. And theNelson-Atkins Museum of Art is one of those Kansas City experiences that feels timeless, elevated, and unforgettable.✨ From Liberty to Overland Park and out toward Parkville and the Northland every pocket of Kansas City has its own character, its own pace, and its own version of luxury living.✨ People considering a move to Kansas City are often surprised by how much is here — beautiful neighborhoods, standout dining, thoughtful design, incredible local businesses, and a lifestyle that feels both refined and genuinely livable. The people who make the move here are not settling. They’re choosing a better rhythm, a stronger sense of community, and a place that feels like home.✨ If you’re considering moving to Kansas City, relocating to the Kansas City metro, or finding the right neighborhood in Overland Park, Leawood, Liberty, or Parkville, comment KC and I’ll send you everything you need to know.✨ xoxo~Cheryl, a Kansas City real estate agent showing you how to live like a local.
