What does it mean to let “go and let God”? King David through all his greatness knew exactly where it all came from. The concept of malchus/kingship is to understand that what ever we achieve, whatever we have is a gift from the creator. David was able to ascend to the highest heights, even though he had been through the lowest lows because he always viewed and understood that by his own right, he was nothing.
