Just a girl and the janky ladder she found on Marketplace trying to “witchy-fy” her kitchen 😅 really love how this little ladder DIY came out! Now I have more space to dry my herbs and store my collection of baskets. and the workshop starts to wake again 🌻🍂✨ Hello my friends! I have been so mia, but our travels have ended and brought us back home! I have been quietly working behind the scenes on our next restock and am so excited to announce that it will be sometime next week 🧡✨ This restock will include many Litha and Kitchen Witch pieces including witch bells, moons bells, wreaths, brooms and more. ✨Date + time to be announced soon ✨ And, of course, as we continue to move along with the Wheel of the Year we are quickly approaching Lammas + Lughnasadgh. I am so excited to dig in as this is my favorite Sabbat. I am an Autumn girlie at heart, but there is something so magical about the dog days of summer and being on the edge of the most magical time of year that I truly love. To me, this is a time of year that is the cross roads. |||Mushroom and Parmesan Risotto for my putifrescas||| It was a well-rounded, productive 10th day of my 41st cycle. Went to the gym, cleaned, did laundry, went to rehearsal, came home and COOKED! Being a kitchen witch is one of my many personalities, and I needed to make this risotto because I had a Costco size pack of portobello mushrooms I needed to use! I love making this because after watching so many cooks masacre that split pea risotto on Hell’s Kitchen, I feel like Gordon Ramsey would be proud @gordongram. 1 cup of risotto 3 cups of chopped portobellos 1 dry white wine 4 cups of broth 3-4 cloves of garlic 3 shallots chopped 2 tbls butter 2 tbls oil 2 tbls grated Parmesan Sautée mushrooms in oil, grated garlic, salt & pepper then put aside. On medium to high heat, melt down butter and oil and add shallots. Add one cup of risotto and toast until oil and butter is absorbed and looks lightly golden. Pour in one cup of wine, evaporate. Pour in one cup of broth, stir and evaporate. Repeat until you have done 4 cups of broth. Should you need more to keep cooking the risotto, add 1/2 cup at a time. Lower heat. Stir in mushrooms, add salt pepper rosemary to taste. Grate Parmesan, mix and serve! It was bomb! Okay byeee!!!
