Lemon Donut Loaf:
* 2 cups all-purpose flour
* 1 1/2 cups sugar
* 2 tsp baking powder
* 1/4 tsp salt
* 1 Lg egg
* 1 1/4 cups whole milk
* 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
* 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
* 2 tbsp lemon juice
* 2 tsp lemon extract
* Lemon zest (1 lemon)
Lemon Glaze:
* 1 cup powder sugar
* 3 tbsp lemon juice
* Lemon zest (1/2 lemon, save other half to top off donuts)
Topping:
* 4 lemon slices, sprinkle a little sugar on top of them
Instructions:
* Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
* Grease glass loaf pan.
* Combine dry ingredients, flour, sugar and baking powder. Set aside.
* Combine egg, milk, melted butter and whisk together. Add vanilla extract, lemon juice, lemon extract and lemon zest and whisk till combine.
* Combine wet ingredients into dry and stir together.
* Pour batter into loaf pan.
* Bake for 45 minutes .
* Cool for 15 minutes and flip loaf onto cooling rack.
* Glaze: combine all glaze ingredients together and pour on top of your loaf.
* Let sit for 5 minutes for glaze to harden a bit. Add sliced lemons to the top of loaf for decoration. We dipped our sliced lemons in a little sugar! Slice loaf and enjoy.

Personal Loaf Pan Focaccia’s! I always make this when I have extra dough from making pizza’s. They also make a cute gift for a friend or neighbour ☺️
One is topped with rosemary and flaky sea salt. The other is za’atar. Any additions is up to you.

Dough العجينة
3cups flour ٣ كوب طحين
1 cup warm water ١ كوب ماء دافئ
1 tbsp sugar 1 ملعقة سكر
3 tbsp milk powder ٣ ملاعق حليب بودرة
2 tbsp oil ٢ ملعقة زيت
1tsp salt ملعقة صغيرة ملح
1 tsp instant yeast ملعقة صغيرة خميرة فورية
-Proof the dough for 30 min
تترك العجينة لتتخمر لمدة نص ساعة
-Roll the dough as in video نمد العجينة كما موضح بالفيديو
-Proof again for 30 min ترتاح العجينة مرة ثانية لمدة نص ساعة
-Shape the dough into a loaf about 10 cm long
تشكل العجينة على شكل ارغفة بطول تقريبا 10 سنتمتر
-Proof the loafs fir 30 min ترتاح الارغفة لمدة نصف ساعة
-Brush with egg yolk and mill then sprinkle sesame seeds, poppy seeds ir leave the loaf plain.
تدهن بصفار البيض مع الحليب ونرش السمسم وبذور الخشخاش او بلا اي نوع توبينغ.
-Bake for 10 min at 220c تخبز لمدة عشر دقائق على حرارة ٢٢٠
