Lawn care tips: Don’t seed your lawn if you have Bermuda sod. Seed typically comes from Common Bermuda and sod typically comes from Hybrid Bermuda (which is grown in a lab). They look very different and it’s very hard to fix. Yes yes I know that there are now new varieties of hybrid that you can seed, blah blah blah. But the average person watching this channel is in danger of grabbing the cheapest bag of Bermuda seed they see on a shelf at Lowe’s or Home Depot and spreading it on their existing builders sod to “fill in the bare patches.” DONT DO IT. #lawncare #lawnmaintenance #diylawncare #lawn #bermudagrass

I love that I don’t have to force my kids to join me in doing physical labor. I also love being able to teach them skills and subtle life lessons. Quality time very well spent.
