David has been collecting these antlers for years, but most of them have been sitting in our garage. Recently, he spent hours cleaning them up, mounting them on plaques, and hanging them throughout the house. I also think I have to give a little credit to our trips to Europe for changing the way I see them. I was so inspired by all the antlers I saw decorating the country manors, old homes, and castles we visited. They felt collected, interesting, and full of history-and I loved how they became part of the character of the homes. It made me realize that some of the best things to decorate with are the things you already have, especially when they have a story behind them.

A new way to work with me ✨ I’ve just launched my new Remote Design Service - perfect if you are decorating your home yourself, but you are struggling to figure everything out alone. This is for you if you know what you like, you’ve saved hundreds of images on Pinterest and you care deeply about creating a home with character and meaning. But when it comes to translating all of those ideas and instincts into one coherent room, you’re not quite sure how to pull everything together. That’s where I come in. My new Remote Design Packages follow broadly the same design process as my top-tier, full-service projects, but everything happens online and the service is packaged per room. Essentially, I create the designs, and you execute them. There are three different levels of support, depending on how much help and detail you need, starting from £895 + VAT per room. I’ve actually been offering a version of remote design for some time, but this new structure means I can make the process much clearer and more flexible — while still giving you the thoughtful, personalised design guidance you need to create a room that really feels like you. The soft blue-grey cabinetry, marble, warm timber and antique-style lighting create a wonderful balance of elegance and character.
