When warm hospitality elevates perfectly executed food, that’s when magic happens. Good to see JG is still upholding that after all these years. A solid choice for that special occasion or just a girls night out. You won’t be disappointed.

If you want dinner to impress from the very first moment, Quality Bistro is the NYC spot you need to try. 💛✨ Perfect for date night, pre-theater plans, or anyone who loves French food and stunning décor.
The meal starts with their iconic tableside butter experience — literally a show before the show. Then you’re surrounded by a dreamy Parisian-garden vibe filled with plants, soft lighting, and little touches of nature that make the whole place feel special. 🌿🕊️
We sipped Perrier-Jouët bubbles, then kicked things off with the bright butter lettuce salad and their award-winning French onion soup — the kind of soup you think about days later. 🧅🔥
For entrées, the branzino and lamb chops with cherry flambé sauce were standouts. Seafood lovers will be very happy here. And the sides? Shoestring fries, Brussels sprouts, and mac & cheese… all elite.
Dessert sealed the night with the marble chocolate lava cake and apple caramel tart. 🍫🍏✨
Located steps from NYC theaters, it’s the perfect pre-show dinner and an overall must-try.

Can you guess how much the hardest reservation in NYC costs per person? 10 courses with beverage pairing at a 6-seat counter. Bar Tasting at @atomixnyc
What it’s like to dine at a 3 Michelin Star restaurant (with prices) ⭐️⭐️⭐️
In 2025, two LA restaurants achieved 3 Michelin Star status, the first time this ever happened in the city’s history. 3 stars signifies “exceptional cuisine worth a special journey” and I had been dying to experience one forever. Though neither are cheap, Somni’s meal price is nearly double Providence’s, so I saved up to experience Providence (which I was excited about anyway because of its focus on seafood). Here’s what it was like to experience what I would call bucket list dining.
Though the price makes it an extremely special experience, I would say it’s worth experiencing if you have the means to do it and are someone who appreciates gastronomy.

Opening week at my new favorite restaurant: Mediterranean, Michelin-led and a cardamom soft serve that I’m still thinking about!
@or.esh is going to be the hardest reservation of 2026.
“Deconstructed” xiaolongbao from a three-year michelin star restaurant, heavily influenced by asian heritage🥢
@redpaperclipnyc has held a Michelin star three years in a row since its opening. But here’s what most people don’t know…🤫
There’s a secret 5-course tasting menu that even comes with a cocktail/mocktail👀 It’s more affordable than their standard tasting, but the courses are still super thoughtful and beautifully done🍽️
If you want to unlock the hidden menu, comment “secret” and I’ll send it to you 🔓

🦪 𝙊𝙮𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨
They got their oysters from Long Island, so they were nice and briny with a clean, creamy texture.
🥧 𝙀𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘽𝙧𝙞𝙤𝙘𝙝𝙚
Their signature dish was made with miso custard, smoked trout and ikura. While the miso flavor wasn’t noticeable, it still added a mild umami note.
🥟 𝘼𝙜𝙣𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙩𝙩𝙞 𝙓𝙇𝘽
Think of it as a ‘deconstructed’ soup dumpling, where the meat broth was drizzled on the side instead of inside the filling, finished with black truffle shavings. It blended italian and chinese techniques, which made it fun to try with soup spoon and chopsticks🥢
🥩 𝙁𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙧𝙤𝙣
My favorite savory course! The steak was perfectly cooked with a pinkish center. It was delicious dipping into creamy potato espuma.
🍰 𝙊𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙊𝙞𝙡 𝘾𝙖𝙠𝙚
A carrot olive oil cake with chinese cinnamon and orange zest, paired with chai ice cream and candied pecans. The warm spices and citrus notes were perfect. I just wished there were more ice cream and pecans!
🍸 𝘾𝙝𝙚𝙛’𝙨 𝙆𝙞𝙨𝙨
🍹 𝙒𝙝𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙬𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙧𝙮 𝙈𝙤𝙘𝙠𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙡
They brought out an off menu white strawberry mocktail made with shiso and yuzu foam, like they could read my mind and knew exactly what i liked🤯
On top of the 5-course menu, we also tried the potato and miso caramel chocolate. The potato was creamy and truffle-forward, while the chocolate truffle was a decadent treat 🍫

That uni brioche toast at César might be one of the best bites I’ve had in NYC.
Came here for my birthday with my parents and it turned out to be one of those meals you keep thinking about after — pristine seafood, super precise cooking, and a restaurant that feels special without trying too hard.
