Would you try out LEGO SMART Play? 🤔 Recently I went to the NYC Toy Fair and got to experience LEGO’s new SMART Play system first hand. And it was really eye opening to see just how many ways you can play and build. Seeing how well everything integrated with the new Star Wars set was so awesome. You can have iconic lightsaber fights, and even spacecraft fights with realistic sound effects. The LEGO SMART Brick itself is charged wirelessly and can be adjusted using the LEGO SMART Assist App. @lego #LEGOSMARTPlay #tech #gadgets #lego

The LEGO Smart Brick has builders divided. Love it or hate it, fitting a bunch of networking and advanced components into a standard 2x4 brick is no small feat. 😉 Check our CT scans to see everything that’s packed inside.

Everyone who moaned in the comment section of my original #legosmartbricks video owes me an apology cause since it’s been out I have seen nothing but curiosity and love and adventurous discovery of AFOLs playing and using the #smartplay system in their MOCs and it’s been amazing! Every time someone has given these to children too the imagination doesn’t stop. It’s been joy and the same curiosity of.. what else does it do and where else can I use it. Yes we can all admit launching in #legostarwars was probs the wrong move… but they gotta make that R&D back somehow! And they even fast tracked it on #bricklink making it easier to buy just the smart elements! I’m so excited to see where this takes us and what features are coming with new tags and fig and watch people reverse engineer these to be hackable and programmable! What a time to be alive! #lego 📸Follow for more Posts,Reels & Stories ❤️Like Comment, & Save my posts ⚡️Check out my Linktree for other feeds 💌DM for collabs

Everyone online: “Why does the LEGO SMART Brick sound like a MIDI synthesizer?” 🤨 Well… because that’s exactly what it is. The SMART Brick doesn’t store movie audio. It generates sounds in real time using data from NFC tiles and minifigures. Which means: ✔ no huge audio files ✔ no firmware updates ✔ future sets stay compatible And the “fantasy language”? That’s how LEGO avoids producing different versions for every country. Once you understand the system, it's actually pretty smart engineering. What do you think about the new SMART Play sets? 👇 Tell me in the comments #lego #legostarwars #legofan #afol #legotechnic legocommunity legocollector legobuilder legoinnovation toytechnology brickcommunity starwarslego legonews legoreview toyreview geekculture nerdstuff
