First date night after Aria was born. For months we were stuck in survival mode. We couldn’t see past the next feeding, the next meltdown, the next impossible day. That night we remembered we’re not just mom and dad, we’re still us. Date nights aren’t luxury as parents, they’re how you remember why you’re in this together. Revisiting Ridgewood, one of our favorite neighborhoods, is always a treat. Throw in a dinner @rolosnyc and it’s the perfect date night. Dinner with kids can be overwhelming. A lot of times my husband and I look at each other midway with that look that says “why did we do this”. But we still love it 😂 Also for all my NYC fams, @cucinaalba is one of our absolute favorite restaurants. They take good care of us and have never made us feel weird about taking our kids with us- on the contrary they always treat us amazingly!
