Did you know that borrowing a library book is one of the simplest examples of sharing and reuse? 😄 One book can be enjoyed by dozens, sometimes hundreds, of readers over its lifetime. 📚 Good for your wallet. Good for the community. Good for the planet. 🌏
So many books to choose from! Which little free library book are you taking with you?

We 💕 @oaklibrary and their “Found in a Library Book” treasure trove! 🌈 In the same spirit, we’re sharing art that little patrons have left behind at the coloring table…gallery wall now on view at the Main Children’s Center!
Must be time for a reread! My fav all time book is a little known YA fantasy with no magic and no real plot, by an author who typically doesn’t write fantasy, published in an era before ya took off. (But even in today’s market it would not fit well with current ya, due to its content and themes and slow pace). Yes it's a library book. I stole it out of the library on my last day of high school and took it with me, and I don’t regret it. I first checked out WINGS OF A FALCON when I was 11, and many times after. For the entire time I was at that school, nobody else read it or even looked at it.
Who remembers searching through the card catalog to find your library book?! 🤓

I started my last new to me Abby Jimenez book today. Despite not liking the first book in the series my persistence has paid off because this one is so so good! And before you come for me, this is a former library book I bought from ThriftBooks. I am not annotating a library book.
