With just 20 days until our Award Ceremony, we’re sharing one of our 2025 Suicide Prevention finalists. “The Conversation” depicts some common warning signs of suicide and shows us all that reaching out is crucial to mental health.

SDCDA Company dancers have been featured at EVERY recital show this season! Not only do they perform, but many of them help crew during production, and ALL of them volunteer for EVERY show! They’re all very studious in school, participate in other activities and love to dance just like ALL of you!
We have 2 more shows this weekend! Come check them out 🎟️ LINK IN BIO!

What a day! 🛹✨
Yesterday @wwmimpact in collaboration with Westside Recovery, took over Linda Vista Skate Park for our Think Twice SD Skate Event. Youth, adults, mentors, and the community came together to raise real awareness about substance use and mental health. Big love to our host Brandon Turner for making it extra special.
We were also honored with an official County of San Diego Proclamation, thanks to Supervisor Monica Montgomery-Steppe and Live Well San Diego, a reminder that this work matters.
I’m so grateful for our founder @mr.armand_king, our amazing mentors, sponsors, vendors, and everyone who showed up. Can’t wait to see more photos and videos from this beautiful day!

FUN, FUN, FUN 🤩
Playing with Ooblek is a wonderful metaphor for working with emotions!
When we cling to them, emotions harden, when we open, emotions soften.
Try it out as a fun family activity!
🍵 Oobleck recipe:
2:1 ratio
2 cups corn starch
1 cup water
Mix and gradually add water until desired consistency.
Ooblek is a thick, gooey mixture that can be solid-like when pressed (like a big emotion) or flowing like when not under pressure (when we let go and soften our grip).
