這是一場 AI 時代的 Live Coding 現場演出，用code即時編織視覺藝術與音樂。 影片裡沒講的技術細節，補在這裡 👇 🎵 聲音：Strudel（strudel.cc） 打開瀏覽器就能寫的音樂 live coding 工具，是 TidalCycles 的 JavaScript 版本。用一行一行的 pattern 描述節奏跟音色，不用存檔、不用編譯，改完下一個小節直接生效。 🖼️ 畫面：Hydra 同樣跑在瀏覽器的即時視覺合成器。影片裡畫面一直往內縮的效果，是 s0.initScreen() 把「螢幕本身」當成訊號源餵回去——輸出變成輸入，就會無限往內套。 兩段程式寫在同一個檔案裡，用註解隔開。所以那句跟觀眾打招呼的話，就直接寫在程式碼中間。 兩個工具都免費開源，搜名字就能在瀏覽器玩。 #livecoding #creativecoding #strudel #hydra #科技藝術

O design de som e a produção musical podem mudar bastante dependendo das ferramentas que você usa. Recentemente tenho experimentado o Strudel, um ambiente de live coding para música que roda diretamente no navegador. Ele abre uma forma bem diferente de pensar sobre ritmo, padrões e estrutura em comparação com as DAWs tradicionais. Explorar diferentes plataformas, desde equipamentos modulares e DAWs até ferramentas musicais baseadas em código, muitas vezes leva a novas ideias e a novos fluxos de trabalho criativos. Às vezes, simplesmente mudar a forma como você interage com o som já é suficiente para abrir novas direções musicais.

Organized as part of the European REACH project, the international workshop-festival Improtech brings together the universal art of improvisation with digital intelligence and AI culture through a program of conferences, interdisciplinary workshops, installations, performances, and concerts. After traveling across three continents and gathering leading artists, researchers, and scientific figures in the field, Improtech returned to its alma mater, IRCAM, in December 2025 for an exceptional edition dedicated to the relationship between improvisation, composition, and spatiality, featuring a special tribute to the renowned composer and music AI pioneer George Lewis. During the festival, NSDOS and Noam Assayag presented Activate Cities: Urban Inspiration and Live-coding, a workshop-performance exploring urban attention, dérive, and generative composition through live coding. Developed from Noam Assayag’s Activating Cities practice — described as “the lost art of getting lost” in the urban environment — the project transforms fragments of the city into compositional material, weaving together ambient music, improvisation, textual instructions, and algorithmic systems. Using the open-source software Orca and principles inspired by cellular automata, the performance investigates how constraints, movement, and sensory observations can generate new forms of collective perception and sonic narration. #livecoding #orca #digitalart #poetry
