Australia changed me for good. 😂🇦🇺 What stage are you at? 1 week, 1 year, or 5+ years? 👇 #livinginaustralia #lifeinaustralia #australia #pov
This video reached over 32 million views… and it’s still one of our favourites. 😂

1. Coffee: one flat white and now I can’t drink instant or a Costa cappuccino ever again
2. Beach access: a “day at the seaside” back home just feels sad now
3. Weather small talk: you stop complaining about rain because it’s actually sunny and now have nothing to say to strangers
4. BBQs: Aussies do a Tuesday arvo barbie better than we do Christmas, ruined forever
5. Portion sizes at brunch: you can’t go back to a “full English” that’s secretly three sausages and beans
6. Directness: Aussies just say what they mean and now British passive-aggressiveness exhausts you
7. Work-life balance: finishing at 4pm to go to the beach ruins the idea of “normal” office hours forever

Pernah nggak sih kepikiran, “Kalau beli barang ini, sebenarnya harus kerja berapa lama di Australia?” 😂

🇦🇺 9 Reasons Australia Is One of the Best Places to Live 🇦🇺
Here’s why 👇
1️⃣ SLOW LIVING 🌿
Life just isn’t a race here. You feel it in how people talk, how they wait, how nobody is rushing you out the door.
2️⃣ A FAIR GO 🤝
Doesn’t matter if you’re flipping burgers, on a worksite or in an office. Honest work gets respected, and people believe in giving everyone a fair go.
3️⃣ ROOM FOR EVERYONE 🌏
This one hits differently as someone who moved here. Every culture, every language, food from all over the world. You get to keep who you are and still belong.
4️⃣ ZERO JUDGEMENT 🕊️
Wear what you want, live how you want. Most people genuinely couldn’t care less, and that kind of freedom is so underrated.
5️⃣ NATURE ON YOUR DOORSTEP 🏖️
Beaches, bush, mountains, wildlife you’d pay to see anywhere else. You don’t need a big trip to enjoy it — it’s just there.
6️⃣ FUN FOR THE KIDS 🧸
Parks, libraries, beaches, botanic gardens, museums to wander through. There’s always something happening — festivals, food markets, cultural days, twilight cinemas and fireworks by the water.
7️⃣ CLEAN AIR 🌤️
The sky is actually blue. You take a breath and it just feels different. Never realised how much that mattered until I had it.
8️⃣ LIFE FEELS DOABLE ✨
The everyday stuff doesn’t always feel like a luxury. Day-to-day life just feels lighter, and that’s something I don’t take for granted.
9️⃣ SAFETY & SECURITY 🫶
Walking to my car after dark or catching public transport late without constantly worrying. That quiet feeling of being safe while going about your day — that peace of mind is everything.

Things I completely stopped buying after moving to Australia 🇦🇺💰
1. Bottled water 💧 — Tap water is easily available, so I mostly use a reusable bottle.
2. Plastic shopping bags 🛍️ — Reusable bags quickly became part of my routine.
3. Expensive cleaning products 🧽 — I found cheaper alternatives that work just as well.
4. Takeaway coffee every day ☕ — Making coffee at home saves a surprising amount over time.
5. Lots of packaged snacks 🍪 — Buying snacks in bulk or making some at home is much more budget-friendly.
6. New clothes all the time 👗 — I became much more intentional about what I actually need.
7. Random grocery shopping 🛒 — Meal planning and shopping with a list helps me avoid unnecessary spending.
Moving to Australia changed the way I spend money — not just how much I spend. 🇦🇺💰
