Here’s Mr Eng Siak Loy sharing some of the inspirations behind his painting titled “Taking Flight”. The painting from 2012 stems from his observations, emotions and memory after a trip to Kathmandu Nepal over 10 years ago. Mr Eng’s work is more than an artistic portrayal of a beautiful place—it captures the sense of freedom and happiness that comes with experiencing it. We can really feel Mr Eng’s passion in his art through the excitement and positivity in his voice. We hope to see and interact with Mr Eng Siak Loy more frequently at our gallery in the near future.
