You are going to want to know about this local gem! Steadfast Farms is a local family owned farm store and coffee shop located right in the Eastmark community less than 10 minutes from the center of Gilbert! The farm is located right on site and serves local produce right in their adorable farm store along with coffee and other local businesses! They also just recently opened their diner right next to the farm store and let me tell you, it’s a hit!!! It’s perfect for a laid back visit, especially if you love supporting local families and giving your kids or visiting friends a little taste of farm life. There’s something so grounding about being surrounded by nature, animals, and people who genuinely care about what they’re building! Spots like Steadfast Farms are exactly why this area feels like home to so many of us. When you drive by you always see people sitting and enjoying plus on the weekends the diner is packed with families sitting outside enjoying a meal together! They bring people together, support local roots, and add so much heart to our community! If you haven’t been yet, definitely add this one to your list. It’s such a sweet reminder of how lucky we are to live here! I’m always out exploring places like this because they’re a huge part of what makes Gilbert and the surrounding areas so special. Back the Underdog. Back your favourite local designer. Back the coffee shop where the barista knows your order when you walk in. Back the best spot for a gatsby. Back that little bookshop where they know who your favourite author is. Back the mechanic that fixed your first car. Back your hairdresser (who doubles as your therapist). Back the restaurant you couldn’t live without. Artist @garybaseman has revived one of L.A.’s most iconic coffee shops as a whimsical gallery show. The prolific L.A. artist has filled the historic Johnie’s Coffee Shop on Fairfax and Wilshire with local restaurant menus covered by drawings of his recognizable characters. “Off the Menu” is open on Friday from 3 to 7pm, Saturday from noon to 6pm (with an evening reception until 9pm) and Sunday from noon to 7pm—with plenty more opportunities to visit into June. Tap the link in our bio for more details, plus our chat with Baseman.
She plans to close her shop in 3 years 🥺 This cute little coffee shop is run by the sweetest elderly woman and her cat, Cha-bo! Honestly, walking into this retro coffee shop felt like stepping into a grandma’s house. The kitschy teacup sets, cute cat decorations, and cozy little details made the whole place feel so warm. It honestly gave me Studio Ghibli vibes. The owner was so friendly and loved chatting, so I pulled out my translator app and we ended up having a little conversation. She told me she’s originally from Nagasaki, but visited Fukuoka years ago, fell in love with the city, and decided to stay. She’s considering closing the shop in the next few years, so if you’re ever in Fukuoka, I’d definitely recommend stopping by and visiting her while you can. I ordered the hot cocoa, and it was fantastic! Save this if you’re looking for a slower, more meaningful coffee experience in Fukuoka, and send this to someone who loves discovering local hidden gems over big chains! 📍 百貨蔵 Address: Japan, 〒810-0001 Fukuoka, Chuo Ward, Tenjin, 1 Chome−15−3 真 • • • • • • #ikigai #kissaten

45 days in. 3 businesses switched over. All friends. All wins. 🤝 Example - If a coffee shop does $100k/month and pays 2.6–4% in processing… that’s $2.6k–$4k+ disappearing every month. That should stay in your business. On my off days from skating, I’ve been helping friends and local businesses lower their processing and actually understand what they’re paying for. I’m not the “set it and disappear” guy. You call me directly. And if it’s bigger than me, we go straight to the real support team. Save money. Keep more profit. If you own a business and want to see what you’re paying vs what you should be paying, DM me RATES 💳📈 #paymentprocessing #businessowner #merchantservices #savemoney #businessgrowth
Here are the 5 things that actually matter where you live 👇 1. Your life is way more local than you think. Most of your happiness isn’t coming from the fact that you live in Philly, New York, Austin, or wherever. It’s going to be mostly coming from the coffee shop you walk to, the park you use, the people you see and whats within like 10 minutes out your front door 2. You have to become a regular somewhere. A place starts feeling like yours the MINUTE people recognize you. That tiny bit of familiarity does way more for belonging than constantly trying somewhere new. And trust me, I’ve tried 😅 3. You need reasons to leave your house that aren’t errands. If the only time you go outside is to work, get groceries, or pick something up, your area starts feeling more like infrastructure, which sucks. You NEEEEED places you go just because you like being there. 4. You have to stop treating somewhere else like your real life. It’s really hard to love where you live if you’re constantly romanticizing the next city, the next apartment, the next trip. At some point you have to put some energy into making this place good. You literally don’t have a choice if you want to enjoy where you live. 5. The people matter more than the place eventually. The coolest neighborhood in the world can feel empty if you don’t have anyone you love there. And a pretty ordinary place can become incredibly hard to leave once your people are legit woven into it. I truly feel this way
