Women-owned @barbs.b.q in Lockhart held its grand opening on Sat. May 27, and we just had to be there! The former pop-up is now serving up Q in a brick and mortar space located in the town’s downtown square. Co-owners Chuck Charnichart, Alexis Tovias, and Haley Conlin all spoke to Lockhart’s strong small-business community who helped them find the perfect spot for their business. The menu offers brisket, pork ribs, turkey, lamb chops, and beef ribs, priced by the half-pound. Sides come in three sizes and three options: green spaghetti, slaw, and charro beans.
