Thanks to @lovepupfoundation for the shoutout on @dogtv
My mission has always been to help misunderstood dogs be more understood by their humans. Working with rescue dogs is an extra kind of rewarding. Giving these dogs a second chance at a real life takes a village. It’s never just the trainer, never just rescue, never just the vet, etc. it takes a team and I’m grateful for the teams I’m a part of.
Shout out to @dogtv for highlighting reputable rescue!

#LovePup Family Fest in Colorado Springs! ❤️🐶
Me 🤝 rescue dogs.
Spud was found roaming the streets of Arizona when a kind soul took him in and contacted #LovePup.
Arizona numbers for dog abandonment and euthanasia are abysmal—I find myself getting emotional about it every day because you wish you can save them all. @maricopapets alone had 16,342 animals enter their care last year.
I love my job at @lovepupfoundation because, although we are a small shelter, we work so hard to save dogs like Spud every day. The puppy cuddles in between meetings never hurt, either.
Please consider donating to a shelter that aligns with your values, adopting and not shopping for your next pup, or volunteering here or there. Literally anything helps and these animals deserve so much better.
Spud will be available for adoption soon. Race you there!! @lovepupfoundation #adoptdontshop #rescuedog
