This was the night before everything changed.
Jesus knew the pain was coming.
The betrayal.
The suffering.
The cross.
And still… He said yes.
Not because it was easy.
Not because He wanted the pain.
But because He trusted the Father.
How many times do we pray for God to take something away…
instead of asking for the strength to walk through it?
Thursday reminds us:
obedience isn’t always comfortable…
but it’s always purposeful.
He surrendered.
He stayed.
He chose the cross.
And because of that—
we get forgiveness, grace, and a Savior who understands our pain.
Before the cross… there was surrender.

Your light was never meant to live in a jar.
I learned that the hard way.
For a long time, I tried to gather all of my light and hand it to others, hoping it would prove my loyalty.
But I’ve learned this
No human deserves the kind of loyalty that belongs to Jesus first.
God didn’t give us light so it could be hidden, controlled, or taken.
He gave it to us so it could spread.
Like fireflies escaping a jar,
some lights were always meant to rise and fill the sky.
So be careful who you try to give all your light to.
Not everyone is meant to hold it.
Let it shine through your words.
Through your actions.
Through the truth you carry in your heart.
Because the light inside of you
was placed there by God.
And you can find peace in knowing this:
your faith is and always will be enough.

The Life of Luke
While we may never know much about Luke’s life before kindness found him late yesterday, his body tells a heartbreaking story.
Emaciated, unable to muster the strength to stand, parasite-riddled, and weak beyond words, Luke arrived barely clinging to life. 💔
Our triage team swung into action. Intravenous fluids began flowing into his fragile body, offering the first drops of hope. But the road ahead is long, and our work is far from over.
