This one means a lot to me. 🤟🏽 I had the privilege of offering sign language interpretation at the biennial international discipleship conference organized by @everyhomeintl Every Home for Christ, through ASLIN Lagos @aslinlagos What made this experience even more special is that this was the first time the Deaf community was intentionally included in the event, and we were given the opportunity not only to volunteer but also to advocate for inclusion. Moments like this remind me that accessibility is not just a “nice thing to do” - it is necessary. When sign language interpreters are present, more people are able to belong, participate, and truly experience the event. I’m also grateful to the senior colleague @omimakindetobi who recommended me. Opportunities like this open doors not just for one interpreter, but for the entire Deaf community. To event organizers, conference planners, and ministries: Inclusion is possible. Hire sign language interpreters. Create space for Deaf persons. Let everyone feel seen and included. #DeafInclusion #SignLanguageInterpreter #AccessibilityMatters #ASLIN #InclusionForAll DuduyemiRadiant

Accessibility is more than interpretation — it’s leadership. Deaf communities need Deaf pastors, Deaf evangelists, and Deaf believers who understand their language, culture, and lived experience. When the gospel is shared heart-to-heart in sign language, it’s not filtered or misunderstood — it’s clear, personal, and powerful. Deaf evangelism requires Deaf leadership. Because everyone deserves access to the gospel in their own language. 🤟

Children are a precious gift from God and every child deserves to live a full, happy and meaningful childhood. Deaf children, like all children, have the right to grow, learn and thrive without barriers. It is essential to empower them to recognize what is right and wrong and to know when their rights have been violated. I passionately urge parents, guardians and family members of Deaf children to take the time to learn sign language. Your effort to understand your child’s language is not just a skill, it is an act of love and a responsibility. When you speak their language, you break down walls of isolation, build trust and create a safe space where they can always come to you for guidance, support and comfort. Communication is the bridge that connects hearts. By learning and embracing sign language, you are giving your child the confidence to express themselves, the courage to speak up and the assurance that they are never alone. Let us all commit to empowering our Deaf children, nurturing their potential and ensuring that every child enjoys the childhood they truly deserve. #signlanguagetotheworld
