The Millennial Social Work Conference is almost here and I’m excited to bring together hundreds of social workers who are committed to growing, learning, and pushing this profession forward. This conference started with a simple goal: create a space where millennial Social Workers can connect, learn from one another, and talk honestly about the future of social work. From private practice to leadership, policy, and community impact, we’re having real conversations about the work within and how we move this field forward. If you’re attending this year, I cannot wait to see you. It’s going to be an incredible experience. #Millennialswc #MSWC #SocialWorkers #SocialWorkLeadership #Therapists

Last night, the Social Work Club’s Alumni Panel took place with alums Julia Anderson, Angelica Sampson, and Miche’al Santangelo sharing their stories about transitioning from MSW students to social workers. The discussion was insightful and it was such a pleasure seeing our recent grads working in the social workers field. You make us so proud! Thank you to all three panelists for taking the time to return to SHU to share their experiences. Also, thank you to the Social Work Club for sponsoring such an informative event. Shout outs: Skylar Chelednik, Lulu Buckey, Grace Baranosky, and Leila Gutic—thank you for your valuable contributions to making this event successful. #socialworkalumni #shualumni #socialworkers
